Ive reinstalled CS just recently and I still enjoy playing the game (especially hostage maps). Im just giving this a shot but perhaps we could have a CS nigth for PSU members? I know these usually fail miserably. But thought i'd still give it a shot. ANyways the date doesn't matter to me.

Would anyone be interested? Im only talking about one night. Not make this a weekly thing or anything like that. Just a short get together.

I really enjoyed those nights of CoD with a few of the PSU memebers.

yeah, as long as we can find our own server.

CS isn't too bad, it's just the communitys gone to shit, you can jump into any server and find a cheater/be accused of cheating/get slapped around by a cocky admin, etc.

I'll play anyway :D

I could do it, on the condition that it's us alone, I'm tired of people hacking. I've spectated people now, there is some hack that people switch from AWP/Scout to pistol rapidly after firing a single headshot into a target.

That's not a hack, it's good timing.

Ok, it's kind of a bug, but basically after you fire, you switch to pistol then back straight away and it skips the bolt animation. It's a legal move in competition because it's a bitch to pull off.

Why would you want to play such an awful game :D

There was something in Day of Defeat which allowed pistol swapping to skip rifle bolt action animations. It was promptly banned by most servers since it didn't take much scripting to accomplish and eventually patched out.

Does CS have scripting (like /bind's)? I've only played CS vaguely so I don't know everything about it.

they removed that in the newest patch.

I would play but Steam doesn't like my CD key (I bought the game) and I e-mailed them and they said it would be 10 dollars to change it but, I'm not going to pay 10 dollars because it's their fault that it doesn't work.

It's like 5/10 bucks now.

Ya 321, that happened to me too, I had a legit copy of CS and Steam rejected my key. Luckily a friend gave me his.

Your ignorance amuses me :) Pistol swapping does not in any way speed up your reload time. It's just a twitch many players have, in case they miss so they can fire with the pistol instead of waiting to reload.
