The last thread that I posted about selling accounts brought to mind another question I have about accounts. My brother and I both plan on playing Planetside, so will we have to pay for 2 accounts if we both want to play at the same time? Or will we have to pay for 2 accounts/play at diferent times? Maybe if we got 2 CD keys or something? Maybe the answer seems obvious, but heck, it's worth a try to ask for some possible way in which we could both play together without paying for 2 accounts. What do you guys think about this topic?

What you can do is make multiple characters on one account, there are 4 possible characters on one account so you could play with 2 without paying for 2. the only drawback is that you could only join 1 army so you'd have to decide on that.

I am pretty sure that only one character per account can be online at a time.

So, if you and your brother want to play at the same time you will need two accounts (and 2 CD keys).

The exploit would be that I could join up on a friends account, install the game on my computer, and circumvent the need to purchase the game.

This hasn't been answered by devs but going by all other MMOG's

You can play whit 1 char from 1 acount at a time on a PC. If you and your brother wants to play at the same time you will need 2 completly separate acounts whit 2 PC's.

Whit this setup you each pay for your own acount and you can play together.

You 2 could share 1 acount and create 1 char for each of you but only 1 person can be logged into the game on that acount at a time, so it wouldn't matter if you had 2 PC's because when you log onto the acount the person thats loged on and only that person can use the chars on the acount until he logs off.

whit this setup you can't play together but only pay for 1 acount and only need 1 PC.

In AO if you synchronized the logging in of 2 characters on the same account you could dual log. Maybe that will be possible in PS. Sony isnt useless like funcom - so i have my doubts.

yeah im sure youd have to buy 2 games for 2 comps unless you switch off lol.
