So Jen's visa interview date arrived.. and of course its one day before the start of PSUMA. Heres the story from my blog.

So we finally got Jen's visa interview date and when do you think it falls? Why on August 19, 2004 of course, one day before we need to be on a plane to Orlando, FL for PSUMA. So this means that we are either a.) Not attending or b.) Going to be EXTREMELY TIRED. We are going to make every attempt to be there for our plane of course. The interview is at 9:30a and they USUSALLY issue the visa's that day. If they do issue it, they issue it by around 3PM. This means we would be to the border (in theory) by at least 5pm and be on the road by 5:30. From there its about 6 hours back to my house which puts us home somewhere around 12:00A. Then we sleep, and leave the house around 6:30a to head up to the airport and board our plane.

We think it can work, and we are going to make every effort to be there. But we wont know for certain if we are going to be there until the day before. Which kind of sucks, but hey if we can be there I guess it doesent matter. So thats where we stand now, it probably puts our wedding in early September before the CDL rally.

On a side note, today I am taking jen to the dragway to check out some Jet cars and all that fun shit. The dragway kicks ass theres nothing quite like 600 - 1200 horsepower beasts pounding down the track at 200-300MPH. Anyways until next time, happy blog reading or should I say stalking,

Bah! You can do it! I get about 4 to 5 hours of sleep a night. :p Let's hope Jennyboo is a US Citizen at PSU:MA!

EDIT: Ok I was told by Hamma in IRC she wouldn't be a US Citizen at PSU:MA but should have her green card. She'll be a "perminent resident."

Yeah good luck Jenny, all the best

Try and grab as much rest as you can between the interview and the issuing of the VISA, and of course 40 winks on the plane. At least Jenny will be asleep for her first flight? :)
