Ok, I've been away for a while, but I got back into Planetside (serious now. no more dreams). and I have a few questions before i jump right in. I might have more long the way. (people who yelled at me when I said I was leavin, please don't make fun of me now :( )
1: Can an ANT fit inside a Galaxy?
2: What is the maximum number of squads for a platoon?
3: Could a Sunderer fit inside a Galaxy?

1) yes
2) 3
3) no, for heavy vehicles, you have to use a LodeStar (new vehicle), this lodestar is a flying vehicle that can pick up and lift any ground veh.

A mean front bumper. :D
Seriosuly though, the loadstar is unarmed with the armor of a Galaxy. It looks (and flys for that matter) like a brick. One it land it acts as a mobile repair/rearm station for ground and air vehichles, so it is actually pretty usefull...

you dont have to write anything down. you just kinda learn it after playing it for a little while. its better that way. I havent devoted more then a paragraph of information to planetside, and I still know everything there is to know about it.

I thought the Lodestar was always a Repair/Rearm station, so aircraft could rearm in midair... guess not.

No, only when it's on the ground afaik.
Could only be land vehicles as well, but I think that was just a rumour.

Used to be you could repair/rearm in mid air as long as the Lodestar wasn't moving, but just hovering.

That was a mistake the devs made, just like the way the lodestar used to work sitting in a warpgate. Now it must be on the ground and outside a WG to act as a repair/rearm platform.
Oh and I prefer to lovingly refer to it as the Dumpstar in TS. :groovy:
