Drag Races (Revisited)

So me and Jenny took another tour out to New England Dragway yesterday. As usual it was a blast and they had some really cool shit out there. Ranging from wheel standers (wheelie cars dunno why they call em wheel standers) up to a 3 jet engine semi truck that goes about 350MPH. Here are a couple pics and a gallery:

When this thing goes off you can feel the ground shaking AND feel the heat from it.. insanity. There's also a few pics in there of a motorcycle powered by cruise missle engines.

I've seen the Shockwave truck 6 times at the Mirimar Airshow. It races bi-planes, from a fucking stand still. I was 600 yds away from Shockwave, i could feel the heat, at night. This was at last years airshow. I also got to go to the Sunday show and sit in the Shockwave tent and meet Kent Shockley. It was badass.

You're lucky you got to see it on a dragstrip :cool:

I got to see it on an airfield, but after Sept 11th no more airshows because of security reasons.
