I like this one so i can take the ladies for a riiiiiiiiide.. ;) (i'm such an ass)

this one's on teh win list as well. I like the color better. Though, i can get the first one in straight up RED. They're both 600's because that's all the bigger I need right now. Between surfing, seven man tackle football, promiscuous sex, and stuff of that nature, i'm already involved in enough activities that can damage my body. I don't need to be cruising around on something that could possibly make the trip to the moon.

This one here is the suzuki i'm interested in.

Here's the only one i'm interested that has no room for dos.

Oddfish, I know ur just doin this to pick up EVEN MORE CHICKS you DOG you! :p

Seriously tho, I dunno if I would ever buy a motorcycle. Friggin dangerous, and you can't drive it during the winter (well not up here in NY) and during rainy/lousy weather (very common up here even during the summer). Prolly the danger factor is what gets me most... I've been in a car accident or 2 and I can only imagine where I'd be if I was riding a motorcycle at the time (6 ft under!).

Motorcycles look cool, but I could never ride one and not be scared shitless.
Reason #1. I'm too fat and lazy to keep balanced
Reason #2. Motorcycle accidents with cars normally rapes the motorcyclist
Reason #3. The feeling of your feet being 5 inches above the ground as you go 40kph or higher would be disorienting

I'd have to agree. The last time time I rode a bike ( This is a normal bike by the way not a motorcycle ) I hit a brick wall an got sent flying. :(

What about Karting? My local ones can hit 60mph (lots more than 40kph) and in them you're less than 2 inches from the ground...

But apart from that, aye theyre dangerous, first time I went on one I was on the back seat with my uncle and I almost fell off the back when he decided to accereate as fast as possible (was on a Ducati 996 ). But that I think made me want one more.

1 or 4 IMO.

1. Never let anybody else drive your bike. Bikes are easy to drop, and the other person has no responsibility to pay for their mistakes. If a friend insists on riding it, bring a shotgun along with the understanding that you get to shoot them 3 times in the face if they damage your bike.

2. The difference between 600cc and the 1000cc + engines is mainly in the high speed acceleration. 600cc is plenty of bike.

3. Do not let anyone else ride behind you on your bike until you get a LOT of experience. It's adding an additional 100-150 pounds that you have to control in the turns. Preferably that person will have experience riding on the back of a bike.

4. Get a full or modular helmet. The 3/4 helmets, or brain-buckets as they're called, will do nothing to protect your face; if you end up going for a tummy-slide on concrete with one of these helmets, kiss your chin good-bye.

5. The most important tip: take a beginner safety course.

pfft, get a chopper.

Hamma, whenever I dream about you, I picture you on a chopper.

I mean...

I just picture you on choppers. Not in the dreams I have about you.

I mean! No! You ride a chopper nude wearing nothing but one of those little german looking bike-helmets! NO!

OMG!

i never dream or even think about hamma. this conversation never happened. hamma wears lots of clothes in the dreams that i don't have about him. and he's always walking. not riding a chopper naked. and he NEVER whips me and tells me I've been naughty. ever. sweartogod.

anyways. i've driven my share of dirtbikes and the like, so i'm used to the balance situation and what not. but, i do intend to take all the courses availible to make sure i'm mr. safey-pants on the road. i don't want to be killing myself anytime soon. and, i'll definitly be getting a full helmet. fuck that brain bucket shit. i like my face, i'd like to keep it. and also, I know that 600cc is the biggest i need to go right now. in fact, i don't feel any need to go bigger. 600cc is just fine for pretty much anything.

Well make sure you get a good helmet and other various pads. I tend to use Simpson equipment when I race. Let me tell you those helmets have saved my brain many times.

Here I'll give you the site www.simpsonracing.com

My brother-in-law that I said has the GSXR 1000 has only been in 2 accidents. Both not really his fault. One of them was like in what you said in #3, he had a guy that never rode a bike in his life with him. He went to go around the bend the guy with him was trying to lean the wrong way, my brother-in-law went to turn around a bit so he could tell him to lean with him, but doing that cause him to lose control and slammed into the guard rail. They both were wearing full helmets. The guy that was with him didn't have a leather jacket so he got some major road rash. My brother-in-law ended up jacking his back up and was in a back brace for a while. I saw my brother-in-law's helmet, the face guard was all scratched to hell. If they weren't wearing them, they would have died. So even if your state doesn't have a helmet law, wear one anyways. He wont even let his brother who has been riding just as long as him (about 20 years) drive ride his GSXR 1000.

i will never let anyone else drive the damn thing. other people aren't careful with shit that's not theirs. also, full helmets for me and my passenger, once i've got some hours in.

helmets = win. and that's that.

Nice, but why are you buying a motorcycle if your poor?

Motorcycles are usually near 10 times cheaper than cars. And use less gas.
