edit: yea Garands go for about 1k last time I checked. I think theres a shooting range a couple towns over. maybe I'll just start with a low-caliber rifle.

Jesus you guys all shoot guns... any of you shoot bows? I was big into archery for a while, and managed to win the title of NY State Champ in my division. Unfortunately, I can't hit the broad side of a barn with a gun. AND, my step-mother ninja-stealth sold my bow and all of its equipment ("I didnt think you USED it anymore!") so I can no longer practice. Anyhow, who knows, maybe I'll get into firearms target practice, I mean, theres a shooting range like a quarter mile down the road from my house, and 2 of my friends work there. However, the problem would be money, as it costs a fair amount to purchase a gun and pay for ammunition and target range fees. :\
