Planetside Trial

Is there any 3 day trials or any trials that would allow me to try it out?
I canceled when they released the expansion. But now im hoping to get back into the scene.
But i wish to try out the game again first to make sure that it is still what i want.

A friend and I are thinking of coming over to Planetside from Eve. Any opinions/views on Eve vs. Planetside? Any more 3 day trials out there?

i play both and love both
EVE is my space sim RPG to relax me and make me think strategically about how i gonna conquer yet another rat in a mission (only EVE players noe what im talkin about) and PS is my daily dose of 1337 FPS action

ha the rats got easy after a while... Now if like 10 groups attacked ya from all sides.. you could fight em off with my 1337 Thorax :P

PS != Eve. They are totally different. I played Eve before I came to PS, and while I thought Eve was OK and looked great, the combat put me off - not enough direct control for my tastes.
PS on the other hand is, I humbly submit, one of the finest computer games ever written by man. Seriously, the enormous scope, the desperate defenses, the inspired attacks, the last minute saves, rocketing down desert canyons persuing a fleeing Reaver, infiltrating an enemy base in the midst of a battle, carrying a heavily armed squad into harms way in the belly of a Galaxy dropship, pounding a courtyard with a platoon of tanks, watching a MAX crash team charge into an enemy spawn room, resucitating your fallen allies, having a 40 player shootout in an alien forest, filling the air full of tracers, setting up a mobile spawn point and single handedly turning the tide of battle, lining up along a base rampart with the dozens of other defenders in anticipation of an enemy armoured column, watching your missiles chase down a fleeing aircraft, this game has it all.

I still play Eve, and I came from PS.

The only similarity between them is they are both MMOs. Eve has depth, PS has action.

And Eve is only crap when you get yerself stuck mining ;)

wohhoo this game is really kickass now.. i reactivated my old account. And even had my old BR14 CR1 character.
