Whats some of the funniest first and last names youve ever heard?
2 people in my football class got wierd/funny names. One is Christan Walker, another is Alex Dabeer. Alex Dabeer's name aint that funny, but when you say it like the announcer in jepordy with alex trebeck its pretty funny. Any my dad's side of the family is the last name coyne (like coin), so whenever someones going have a newborn its always fun to make up names. Rusty coyne, Iwanna coyne.

^ There is a reason for that. American's (normally) can't pronounce chinese/vietnamese/japanese/whatever correctly, so then you get a bunch of alternate spellings and shit. The best example I can think of this is in the movie Mulan, Disney changed her name to Fa Mulan, when her name sounds a bit like "hwa" (it's rather hard to put into English).

Gwenyth Paltrow and Chris Martin did, which is such a shame because I bet my ass that's going to be one good looking kid.
The last name "Quiddlebum" sucks, especially if you're marrying into that name. I'm glad I found a man with a nice, normal, easily pronouncable last name so I no longer have to spell the name for everyone.
But here's a pretty crappy name for you. My mom is straight off the boat Sicilian (well, WAS in 1969). When she was born, her parents named her - get this - Crocifissa. Which as you can imagine is the Italian word for "crucifix". I guess it's a family name, yada yada yada. But when she came to be naturalizied in the United States, she wisely "translated" the name and now her legal name is Christina.
Bless her heart, I discovered this fact after searching through legal documents to get my passport. She never breathed a word of it before, and she's still embarassed about it now!!

Adolf was a popular German name pre-1945, it obviously declined in popularity after World War II. It's also pronounced with a short-a, not a long one.
