I intentionally made the cut-out a tad rough along the edges to give it a more sinister look.

Why did you make it red?

contrasts better with the background that way, and makes it look more evil and demonic, like its on fire. that'd be my guess. Very cool UD, wish I could make sigs like that, but sadly programming seems to be the only thing I'm any good at :\
