The meteors prob come from that new battle island called Extinction becuase of the volcano in the middle and they prob wont be able to hit the sanc because that pic was a demo of it, a dev just made them come.

that would be cool to be on a balisk in the middle of no where and a group of meteors knock the crap out of you.

Are these going to be regular occurances or what? I don't remember what they said about the meteor showers and earthquakes in the official forums.

It's pretty cool, I can't wait till they hit for the first time in the sancts.

I remember this phrase called out in servers in Counter Strike before 1.6 (especially when I was an admin on a server :) )

ADMIN ABUSE!

But I don't think the QA guys will abuse this ability :)

I'd like to see a destroyed turret in the sanctuary.

One thing this does is create weather that will damage turrets and such and help lower NTUs. Maybe not enough to make a full base neutral...... But definitely an annoyance that I plan to laugh at alot on live server.
