Anyone out there play city of heroes I play on the liberty server (several characters) and i was just curious if anyone else played COH.

I've not played CoH properly. Last time I played it, it was in beta with my old graphics card that slaughtered the game. I sure wish they would bring out a trial. I'd really like to try it again with my new graphics card.

I got a level 17 ice blaster on freedom, named KiKiNCHiKiN. I just got the game last week, and I must say that it's infinitely different from FFXI. Both have their merits, but after playing this I don't think I can go back to FF.

I hate that game, was level 42 Fire/Dev blaster, was in top ten on Freedom server, the 70 member supergroup with all players level 35+. Then I realized I hate that game, and quit.

I have a 26 Emp/Elec defender (he sucks)
A 18 Earth/storm controller
a 12 Broad/Dark Scrapper
a 10 Invul/Stone Melee Tank

All on liberty other then the defender i enjoy the hell out of them all.

Radiation/Dark Blast defenders are teh uber fun. nothing hits me and i can read a book while playing.

Sweet! Yea my main isnt getting a cape either, perhaps on an alternate costume, and yes i believe they do sell time cards.

You think producing a gamecard costs more money than setting up a website to accept credit cards, and then paying the fees to the credit card companies? Not to mention the fact that gamecards are just good marketing (giving as a gift, people paying for 90+ days at a time and often not even using it all).

Yes actualy i do, because all companies these days have to deal with credit cards, its easier to write PHP script that feeds a secure server then it is to arrange for distribrution of game cards.

Distribution of game cards? Gosh, if only they already had a distribution network set up to distribute packages of software that would be sold at the exact same places as the game cards, they could probably circumvent that whole pitfall.

See, there's your problem. You've decided that I feel like I should be getting a discount, even though I've never said anything of the sort. I think that selling 90 instead of 60 day gamecards at a slight discount is good business sense. I've already explained my reasons for thinking that. At the end of the day, COH only sells 60 day cards and they sell them at no discount which is quite odd in the MMORPG industry.

We have the two computers set up next to each other... maybe I will take a pic and show ya'll.. anyhoots, we get bored with a char, or need a different one, we play them.
Its awesome doing it this way. We also started playing AO cause Jen deserved the pain of a real MMORPG (items, stats, level grind)
