I'm glad I don't live in California. How a fucking body-builder/bad actor became govenor of one of our largest states, I haven't a fucking clue. God damn it makes our country look pathetic...

I live in California. :(

I would take Arnorld over Grey Davis any day. He was the governer that got us in to this econonic mess in the first place. Why we had to pick Arnorld as our next leader..... Don't ask me.

Minnesota has or had a Wrestler become governor. We had a President who was an actor, although not a bigtime actor.

I don't think it makes us look pathetic to other countries that a foreigner can come here, make a fortune, make a name for themselves, and become one of the most powerful persons here. I think it's something we should embrace.

He won't be able to be President though, even if he wanted to be.

Wasen't he trying to change that rule? Its always possible, isnt it. (Not saying it would be a good thing.)

Arnold hasn't been trying to change the "No foreign-born President" rule, but Senator Orrin Hatch has. A while back, Hatch made a proposal to change the old law:

Here's the article (http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=33618)

Yes he/they (someone) was attempting to change that rule, I do not agree with that personally.

Either do I, the whole point of the rule being made was so that some German-born person can't come in and take over the country.

How can you run a country you weren't born in, and not have a conflict of interest?

What if they moved over at like, age 5, or their parents were on vacation while born, and were in a different country.

35 years of citizenship would stop someone from just "coming in and running for prez"

If you think Arnie being a governer is bad, a town in the UK had a Chimp for it's mayor about 4 years ago. (Hartlepool I believe)
