I figured that if I posted a Blog-style play-by-play recap of my vacation, nobody would care. So I'll just give highlights.

- Washington, DC

- Full of liberals, esp. Georgetown students who hold Int'l Monetary Fund/World Bank protests or plant Anti-Bush stickers on street signs.

- Most of the Smithsonian Museums suck, with the notable exception of...

- Nat'l Air and Space OWNS. The ORIGINALS: Spirit of St. Louis, Yeager's X-1, an Me-262, and a huge fucking hanger FULL of planes, including the B-29 that dropped th e atom bomb, MiGs, Racing planes, an Fw-190 and an Ar-234...and MORE...go see it NOW. Stop everything and go there NOW.

- The other Smithsonians suck, unless you like seeing random objects touched by George Washington and statues in Eskimo clothes.

- There is almost nowhere to sit down and eat, unless you like eating coffee and breadsticks at one of the 10,000 Starbucks. Chinatown is the best bet, and even then, there really aren't that many Chinese businesses: it's the Starbucks and CVS Pharmacies with signs in both English and Chinese.

- The Metro owns, until you get the train doors closing on you.

- Saw the usual governmental stuff, White House, Congress, monuments etc.

- A kick-ass exhibit at the Spy Museum was one on terrorism in the US. It owns, hard.

- NRA Firearms museum was cool.

Now, PSU-related stuff:

- The Shark was nowhere to be seen.

- "Post-9/11" security measures means that guards stand around on important buildings with H&K G36 assault rifles. The Secret Service people have FN P90s. Both have red dot sights.

- I think I saw someone related to Jenny. It wasn't her, probably a sister or something.

- Certain streets in DC DO make a pentagram, and the lawns near the Capitol building DO form Molech the Owl (pagan symbol).

- I got lots of pics, including several self-pics. May post.

- I nearly called Triggar from Reagan Nat'l Airport to discuss something about something, but I couldn't get alone from the family, and I didn't want any wierd questions. (Who are you talking to?)

What'd you want to ask?

Glad you're back, sounds like you had a good time despite the shite of the museums!

What'd you want to ask?
Deliver it.

Addit: LEARN A SECOND LANGUAGE!

- Whenver my mom/dad wanted to point out something really odd, but socially unacceptable, we did it in their native language (Spanish). I now have a whole list of "code-words."

Yeah, why the hell are American forces using German and Bulgarian weapons? I didn't think any armed service used G36s in the States.

If they're better, they're not "equivalent" ;)
