Always good to hear that the playerbase is growing, even if it's slowly.

Jumping BFR... O MAI! I'm gonna build a Catapult class mech...

I'm intrigued by the "attuning" that a player will have to go through before being able to get a BFR. He also said getting a BFR would be as easy as getting any vehicle after that which intrigues me further. He also says that wait times are much longer. Hmm....

Ohh great, single pilot flying mechs... Just another version of the Starfire but better probably.

It'll be cool if You can use the 2 person mech to pick up enemy tanks and throw them at their infantry. ooo ooo or you could pick up 2 enemies and bash their heads together whilst sitting on ur ass like a giant ape. And you'll be able to swat mossies outta the sky, and punt atvs, and pick up lightnings and bite off the front half.
I wish....

*drool*
That would truly be a sight to behold. What if mechs could eat other vehicles and become STRONGER! I'd love to see a Mech eat a prowler, then hours later be caught behind Mount Cyssor taking a crap (et tu Evangelion).

Yes, Dave sure does like Evangelion a lot.

Eggh, I would only hope it doesn't turn into an anime style deal. This is PS, not Yuh-Gi-Oh (sp?) :)
But yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing it, being an avid Battletech fan myself. The devs have had experience with mechanized warfare games before so this should be really neat. They keep talking about BFRs being modular, which could end up being similar to HeavyGear's custom loadout system (which was very flexible).
Too bad it's going to be months before we see anything, but I'll be waiting anxiously for this stuff to hit testing.

:borg:
I hope I can make one like the Assault Mech Marauder II designed by the Wolfs Dragoons. I loved that one :drools:
Then the Victor was a nice little underated Assault Mech as well... :brow:

Victor was good... I used that in many later mission on mercenaries, especially the last one where you have to kill the queen (and like 80 kabillion enemy mechs)

heh heh
With the multitude of Mech books that followed over the years, playing a scenario or campaign pre-4th succession war was almost a guarantee that no one would really bother looking at the Victor. It was always "I'm getting an Atlas or BattleMaster". Then during the battle in close combat I would smile and say "Jumping, Death from Above". Then to hear "YOU CAN'T DO THAT! Assault Mech's don't have Jump Jets!" . Yank out the book, point to the little spot that tells you how many jump points you had, see the bemoaning look on their face, then smell "Victor"y as my foot crushed thier Mech's head.
Edit: I guess I'll be "Attuning" in the Caverns when this comes out.

HAHA that whats I do in Multiplayer... I don't play multiplayer anymore tho, cause my friend tainted my name... I follishly let him play and whenever he was close to getting killed he would self destruct...

I tend to dislike Assault Mechs, too big for my liking (with the exception of the Mauler because it's such a cool looking mech :D).
Just give me a Bushwacker, Mad Cat or Vulture and I'll be happy :)

Favorite Mechwarrior mech: Raven. If I were in a Mech Lance, I'd be the guy in the bird-leg Raven with the sensor package doing the scouting :D
The attuning feature sounds interesting. Can't wait to customize these bad boys.
Potential for different equippables down the road sounds really cool indeed.

It's starting to sound like the invasion of the Clans. My favorite when they first invaded was the MadCat (Timber Wolf). On paper, great mech...in "real" life (Virtual World)....easy target...just aim for the big nose.
I wonder how long after before we get Outfits named Jade Falcon, Clan Wolf, Ghost Bear, Smoke Jaguar, Diamond Shark, The Not-Named Clan (Wolverine), etc.? or....House Stiner, Marik, Liao, Davion, Stiener-Davion and my personal favorite, Kurita.
