Air brakes = no.
So does Batman need a CDL to drive that then? ;)
Edit: CDL as in Commercial Drivers License no the Dragon Wolves. ;)

I don't think that vehicle is street legal. Batman must be friends with some cops or something
\
(Thanks for the clarification, it's called a class A or B license in Canada I think)

what did you think Robin was for? Robin isn't exactly shining shoes.

Air brakes = no.
I don't think the air brakes are from that car. If you listen in the backround you hear what sounds like an idling (SP?) diesel engine like on a Semi which always have a air brake (Or a lorrie to you brits) Air brakes on that car would be overkill. I know that bat mobile doesn't have a diesel because you don't hear the turbocharger whistling.
Robin isn't exactly shining shoes.
Knob polisher?
Batman should drive an IROC. :)
Radar wouldn't pick him up then.

Why couldn't they just use the original batmobile from the show?(BTW, that show is the most homo erotic show ever made)

I think they changed it so batman is no longer limited to the well paved streets of Gotham. no more embarrasing moments chasing baddies in the sand dunes.

Remember this is the beginning story of batman (how he became Batman, much like the first Spiderman movie), people have said you dont see him in the suit until an hour into the movie. Also, since this is the origin of Batman, think of this vehicle as the prototype (Bruce experimenting with new inventions) to the main batmobile we see in the comics.
Teaser trailer can be found here (and some info on the story):
