Google sucks for porn .You get a website and 50 thousand pop ups come up, you click out 1 2 more pop up. Sucks, Use kazaa or something. As for illegally dling music, I would never do just a terrible and unjust act ever. It is against my religion and may god help your souls who do steal those poor starving artists money. Its people like you who made it so artists actually have to watch there money and not just buy everything thats shiny. Hopefully Jesus forgives you, for I know that those poor artists won't.
Actually im Atheist and have no objection dling music. Tho I never said I dl just that I have no objection if you do ;)

Exactly! No one thinks of the artists and how there affected. For every CD you dont buy is $.10 down the drain from them. Sure they may make a few mil doing comercials and concerts but thats beside the point. Think of the childr.....err artists. Please, think of the artists :tear:

 I don't even think it's 10 cents per CD.
Also, Artists and whatnot need to stop making shitty music, I'm not gonna pay 15 dollars for one song. It's not piracy that's ruining the business, it's shitty artists.

Honestly to the best of my knowledge I never have.
Never D/L a movie
Never Ever D/L a Game unless it's a demo authorized by the maker
Never a song unless agai it's autorized by the artist.
I just have a moral objection to stealing so I choose not to do it.
No really
Ill download a song or two, and if I -really- like the song, Ill try a few others. If I like them as well, I generally go out and buy the cd.
However, thats only happened in 2 instances. Because music today sucks the big one.
And the ONLY game I have Downloaded, is Morrowind. I do that once every 9 months or so. Or whenever I get the craving for some evil.

I downloaded windows once. It was shitty and corrupt.
I downloaded bf1942 way back in the day. It was fucking missing the textures.
Now I buy everything, except music. If you can afford a 10 million dollar boat, then you dont need my overpriced 15 bucks, expecially when I only like one song.

Here's a few facts for ya.
The Music Industry is controlled by 5 Major labels, like a cartel. This should technically be illegal, but for some reason it isn't because RIAA guys with government influence slipped a subsection into a bill somewhere that gave them immunity from certain anti-trust laws.
Those 5 major labels control 90% of music sold and yet only 10% of professional music as a whole.
Those 5 major labels pay their artists around 7% royalties. However they do not pay the artists ANYTHING until they've paid off all the costs of recording and promotion. That means that in reality for an artist to see any of that money, they have to sell around 500,000 to 1,000,000 cds.
But wait, it gets better. Those 5 major labels operate a system called Payola. This is also technically illegal but they still get away with it. It involves paying radio stations to play tracks. The reason you heard Britney 30 times yesterday? The label bribed the station to do it. They also pay the stations to keep independant labels OFF the air and their stuff on. This means that they shift units simply by shoving music down the throats of people who don't neccessarily want to hear it. It's paramount to brainwashing.
The RIAA is blamed for all this suing of working class families and such for downloading music, but in reality all the RIAA is, is a panel of execs from the 5 major labels. The RIAA is like a phantom entity, a lightning rod if you will, which attracts the bad press and keeps people away from sniffing around the heels of the 5 major labels.
But that can change, and it is changing. Go and check outDownhillbattle.org (http://www.downhillbattle.org), the music activism site for information on the anti-RIAA stuff and supporting independant labels and real artists. Wanna do something? Stop buying major label music. Check outThe RIAA Radar (http://www.riaaradar.com). You can use that to find out if a cd is published by a member of the RIAA or not. The major labels have many many front 'sub-labels' which they've either created or bought out, which they use to fool people into buying music, thinking it's not from one of the major labels, but that they're supporting an independant. This site has complete listings of all the RIAA affiliated labels (some of which didn't even know they were members until a recent Downhillbattle Information campaign cut a big chunk out of RIAA memberships).
As you can tell, this is something I feel really strongly about.
TB.
