Do it. I will make it a feature on my homepage, you elitist.

That blog is great, it's good to have a human voice to put with the "reports of 20,000 more troops to be sent to Iraq". I hope someone's sent that to our government, give them something to read to drive the point home that our soldiers aren't just numbers on a sheet of paper.

I feel really bad for the guys who are over there - not just the fact that they're living on edge constantly, but they have to put up with that unrelenting heat and the bugs. I hope they get to come home soon.

I may do the same to document my interesting ( read: terrible ) school life...

No, it's not me, it's the blog of a soldier in the Army. He was saying by the title of the thread, he thought I had made a blog. I'm not interesting enough to make a blog.

Holy shit on a wheat cracker Nav, as if i didnt have enough websites to compulsively check for new content.

That is the best blog i've ever read. And one of the best reads i've had in a LONG time. That ambush in Mosul with Al Qaeda was fucking insane. Thanks for sharing.

Indeed, it's rare that you find jewels like that on the internet.

He shut it down himself, NPR and their bullshit used his blog to go on some anti-american anti-war crusade thing, used his real name, picture of him, etc. So he shut it down. Blame them. The assholes. :(

spider, dont go to PSUMB.

as the others said, he shut it down himself. its a shame really, i posted this a few days ago on Bohica, but i unfortunatly came to a similar conclusion, exept in mine the reason they shut it down was because of operational security, not politics.

by the way, check out 91GhostRiders blog, or was it 91Ghost, anyways, its linked to from CBs blog, just look, and go back to his first post, and read on from there, it is, infact, damn good, as much as war can be good, what i mean is that the way he writes it really helps the reader understand the hell that they went through, in the first gulf war that is, what he dubbed, a cakewalk, a slaughter.

Or what? Sincerely do you think I really care about what you say? Bush is in my opinion a total idiot... you have the right for your opinion and so does Nav, but I never cared for what Nav said... I'm unbiased on this matter, sure bush did some "good" things but some of the shit he has done is just wrong. This isnt a political debate but if the Bush administration is able to ban movies and make war vets go against what they said years ago (That kerry was a hero etc. etc.) then I'm 100% sure that he can close the site and put some bogus reason to show that he's "not" involved...

I'm not quite coherent in english about political matters... but were you to understand french I'd easily explain my point to you.

Everay
2004-08-30, 02:39 PM
no, youve made your point clear enough.

but none of those vets ever said kerry was a hero years ago, the ones that did are the ones that are supporting him today. what movie did bush ban? that moore flick?

Actually I was watching the daily show just now (and some other new channels for the past few weeks) and I'm sorry if I can't recall his name but a vet that's now in one of the anti-Kerry adverts is saying that Kerry never earned those purple hearts, never did anything he has stated and yet 8 years ago he stood next to Kerry and clearly said that he was a hero.

Edit: Forgot to clarify that my unbiased status is with being Canadian... so I really don't root for a side or another they both have good and bad sides... Kerry having more good sides then the current president.

I thought you were in basic training? Or the military? Or maybe they let you in because you were so traumatized after killing those robbers at your $100,000 a year security job (guarding falcon pc's)? What happened did you write a suicide note on the military application? I guess it's ok, because you've still got that humvee to ride around in all day with your uncle who's in the mafia.

They put an obvious comedic spin on stories, but they do present current news.

Well, you get the general idea. All the stuff they broadcast is true. The comedic bits are pretty obvious.

Gets people at least thinking about current affairs. See something on Daily Show and look it up, read the supporting articles.

Craig Kilborn just retired from the Late Late Show. He was pretty good on the Daily Show I think, but John Stewart made it exploooode.
