I just unlearned UNI-MAX And shifted my focus from heavy armor specialist to heavy ordinance. Ive got 5 certs laying about. Current certs are...

MA, HA, ReXo.

Vehicle is not necessary. I get where I need to by Outfit/squad transport, or through Instant Action.

can't have too many medics on the field.

If you're gonna be doing a lot of in battle action then try engineering, repairs you, and those vehicles you're always in. You don't really have to get CE, with that last two certs you get get an AA MAX, even though you just droped Uni Max. But, like I Hate Pants said, can't have too many medics on the field.

I'd recomend something along the lines of engy (maybe CE) medic (adv isn't worth it, pick up a flak max or any other 2 pointer first) AA MAX or possibly an AMS. Put some serious thought into AV and vehicle (maybe ams, if you don't plan on using a vehicle for combat.)

med and engy, I don't see how people play the game without it.

i NEED anit-vehicle. I have it for all 3 empires. HA, is really not that good (unless your NC, where the MA weapons suck) Medical, and engi. But remember.. theres no "I" in V-N-M. If you get medical... make sure you play the role of a medic.

I'd say you should pick up AV, and Medical as soon as you have one extra point.

If you're TR or NC I definitely recommend you getting AV as soon as possible. Stikers and Phoenixes are easy to use and cause respectable damage to vehicles. If you're a VS, get AV only if you really want it, cause it takes some time to get used to, and some more time to bet kill whoring with it.

Medical and Engineer is something everyone will eventually need. Be it now, or later. Whichever one you get first is purely your choice. If you just want to grunt, get engi. Most everyone has medical nowadays. Its only a matter of getting people to heal you. Plus you have medpacks to last you. For a bit anyways.

If you're NC or VS, you can try getting an AA MAX. I would definitely advise you to use AA MAX if you're VS. Not only does it own the skies, but it also provides nice transportation. Though MAX units aren't that great for the long journey, the are good for getting from one zerg to another.

Well, I find it nice (as a sniper) to get a vehicle. Harasser is my cup of tea for 2 points. But Ground Support would come in a close second. Then Ground Transport (the Aurora is kickass regardless of what others may say, get 2 reliable gunners, and an engineer and a decent driver and you're set for life). ATV is one of those preference sort of things. Sure you 0get 3 ATVs, and they're agile, but brittle as hell, and have absolutely no firepower whatsoever. For two cert points, it's better to get a pure transport, than to try and get something that is mediocre in both transportation and firepower.

Combat Engineering? Sure, why the hell not? It's always nice to mine a base before the zerg gets to your doorstep. Place a nice little surprise behind every tree and/or rock for infantry going to heal up.

For two cert points, you can get an infiltration suit. It's pretty nice when you want to go ninja on someone's ass. But to be a good ninja I guess you also need CE. I don't know, you can try using the Melee Booster implant, see how that goes. Or just load up an AMP, get surge, and run around spraying people in the back, and running away before anyone knows better...

Edit: At least with Harasser you're good against infantry, and can take a mine, maybe even two. But ATV gunning requires a LOT of skill. Plus you can't take many mines (i think 1) before you get blown sky high.
