Once the new patch went through the caverns HAD FIGHTS IN THEM, the people in the battle islands kept going down there for mods and to break cavern locks.
I HOPE THIS KEEPS UP!!!

Hmm, I've never been in a cavern fight. But from what I've heard, they're very enjoyable, due to the very 3D nature of the combat. So this has to be a good trend :).

I think that because you can now see the caves on the map without having to switch "views" then once a hot spot comes up, people realize that other people are actually fighting down there and so they want to join in. I think the reason people werent fighting down there before is because they assumed no one else was down there. Now that you can see if someone else is down there via hotspots (without having to go through some extra mouse clicks) people are more willing to join.

Indeed, good(or bad if you're that Empire) news is that one of them is going to be SOL when caverns shift...so one Empire is going to be bitch smacked across the continet for a couple hours :)

I think that you should be able to broadcast warpgate into a cavern if you have continental dominion on the continent that contains an active cavern geowarp.
That would own. The only problem with the caverns really is accessibility.

That's probably to control the flow of CC modules.

Yeah but who says that they would be able to broadcast warp OUT of the caverns? Just allow people to broadcast IN.
