If you guys are looking for some good entertainment, go to your local walmart and check out the 'Self-Checkout' isles. I don't know if your Wal-Mart has them, but mine has 8 of them.
I love to just go to those lines and watch people as they try to scan their items and use the touch-screen computer. People get SO frustrated at the machines. Of course, I can use them with ease because I am technically inclined and therefore know what happens and what it's doing.
For instance, after you scan your item, you are to place it in a bag on the rack. Well, if you don't do that, the computer knows. (because the bags are on a weight table.) So, people will innocently scan their items and place it back in the cart without putting in the bag (which the computer tells you to do.) If you don't place the item in the bag within a certain amount of time (or before you scan your next item) the computer starts to talk to you and says "please place item in bag." If you still don't do it, the computer gets angsty and calls the supervisor over.
This happened at least 5 times tonight while I was in line. It was pure hilarity! There are all kinds of things that can go wrong in those self-checkout lines, and it's worth the wait to watch people get so mad at these machines.
Try it, I dare ya
