I love roller coasters, fast cars and the like. I live near a few parks with some great coasters (Kings Dominion, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Six Flags altho i haven't been there yet). I'd like to know though, if anyone has been to Cedar Point, because my dad and I are probably going there on a road trip next summer. Is it really all it's hyped up to be? If you've been there, tell me about it.

Personaly I dont like Cedar Point much. Its about 45 mins from where I live and they have like 3 good coasters. I just cant stand long lines, I love adrenaline rushes and all but to have to wait 2 hours for 1 minute of fun sucks. I like whitewater rafting, sky diving ect. Those rock and give one hella rush.

I disagree. A "your mom" joke, spaced out every few days and well-placed, is almost always funny.

Not really. Its what little kids use when they cant think of anything better to say. CS people like mom jokes alot.

Well, the "your mom" joke has to be funny and has to be a witty adaption of the aforementioned statement. When you're expecting a normal reply and get something like, "I like to ride your mom when she comes over late at night", well, I think it's funny.

I live like, one mile from busch gardens.
I think ceder point is pretty reet. Went there like 2 summers ago.
However, roller costers really dont give me much of a rush. Falling scares the shit outta me, and in turn, lots of adren
I'm not a roller coaster fan cause I hate public places with lots of people then stand around forever to just ride a 30 sec ride.
Edit: But it is fun if you go with the right people.
Hell my friends and I got kicked out of a smaller park near where I live called Idle wild. It was a false accusation, they claimed the group of us where swearing and being rude to families with small children and older people. Lies! It was just that we where a large group of kids and it was 10 mins to closing and they wanted us out. The "main" security guy was piss because I was being as my school teachers use to say, "Respectfully Disrespectful." I was talking and a claim voice, speaking politely, asking him what we were being accused of, who are the complainant, could we see the written complaints since they would have to have made some type of record of them, what was his badge number, what his name was, if WE could make a complaint about the security, and what not. But since these were false accusations he couldnt prove it. But as he escorted us he radioed for more mall guards as I called them. They really didn't like that. They started to threaten us by saying that they would cuff us all and cart us out if we didn't keep walking. Then they walked us to the exit where the real police were. I stopped there, explained our case to them, they just gave me a smile and said, Sorry we have nothing to do with this. We were just called here to help the security escort you guys out and make sure you dont get back in.
Woah, that was one large edit. Oh well it was fun thinking about that time. I

Cool it should be fun then. I'd say my favorites would be hypersonic, apollo's chariot, alpengeist, the hulk and alpengeist.

Me and you can sit them out... I prefer to be at the yoke controlling my descent if I have to do any rapid descending at all.

Only roller coaster that is at universal (not islands of adventure) is the indoor new mummy coaster, which I am so going on, and some small ass childrens one.

Mom jokes never get old. Like Trig said, if they are well placed and spaced out mom jokes are clearly incredibly funny.

Unless you make the mistake of saying it to someone who hasn't got one. That's always bad.
And yes, I'm an adrenaline junkie. Just sometimes I don't know what the hell I'm doing on something, but I always enjoy it. For example, this bungie ball in Turkey. That was really really good. I wouldn't do it again though. I'll see if I can get the video
