Yesterday EA announced the BF1942 mod for BFV will be released tomorrow. PlanetBattlefield already got a copy and they did a small write up and some screenshots. Enjoy! :D

I don't get what's so cool about thsi mod it's just BF1924 with pretty grass.

BEING ABLE TO SHOOT IN PASSENGER SEATS, AND BOATS IN BFV. Officially this leaves coding done for other mod teams.

There are alot more graphics tweaks. The textures are similar but of higher resoultion. Also better models and skins. Its better graphics in General. Also the Kits like in BFV. EA has said they will move beyond the Pacific eventually.

Well theres several pic where it COULD ahve been coral sea, but theres no defining landmarks visible. so its possible, but we dont know for sure. (at least not from thoes pics)

that pic for example. could be Coral, but no way to know.

True, but I was pointed at that BFV is just BF wearing a skirt. It makes it look prettier.

Its good, but alot of recycled sounds and textures only with dynamic light added kinda made me mad. The Colt 45 in BFV and BF1942 are the same weapon so why use different sounds. The one in BFV sounds ALOT better. The new Thompson sound is nice, id love to see new sounds though.

Oh good! Now everyone on the american side plays as the freakn' medic. So when thier done spraying and praying everything they just have to heal themselves.

They don't even bother healing other teammates who choose not to play as medics. Because they're too busy going fucking rambo on our asses. :/

I did that in BF'42 anyways, and I DO heal others. Thing is, your usually all to busy trying tog et yourselves killed, to notice me running behind you, med bag out.
