connection problems

recently, whenever at the loading screen, the message comes up saying "your computer has stoped reciving packets from the server."

belive me, ive tryed alot of things such as resarting the roouter (wich helped for a second), turning off the firewall ect.

anyone have a solution?

can we get more info on your connection, cable DSL, how it connects to the modem ect?
