Favorite Battle Island?

So, now that we've all had time to play with the battle islands, what's everyone's favorite?

For me, it's all about Ascension. This island has really brought MA weaponry back into focus, and the bunker placement versus the terrain is actually effective for defending against moderate infantry zerging. Now all the bunkers need is a med term and those teleporters back to their base.

Which do you guys like?

thatever the oe is that has that big hill in teh mideles with tree spokes, it's a hardcore capture teh hill MA battle, i love it.

I like nexus because it is small and requires stratics to take...adds a more defined sence of tactica...as with VS on Extinction.

Desolation, for being the first true desert in planetside.

Nexus, because its more of a 1v1 fight and its only one base which is kinda nice.

Nexus + Dropship center + Aurora = fun for hours

Before somebody asks why there's two Nexus'... I meant to put "I don't care for any of them" and a nerve cluster misfired or something :/

I choose Desolation cuz almost everytime I've been there it's been an awesome three way fight.

Desolation, because of uninhibited vision for miles... perfect for snipers :)

I'd have to say Nexus. I like how the base is in a depression, which allows some serious ballistophobia (tanks having the ability to shoot directly into the CY from a hill). Also, the landscape is great for small skirmishes, so that's a huge plus. However, I haven't seen many battles take place there.... :(

I have the same opinion you have about Extinction... Those bridge battles are major overkills of each opposing sides. And they almost always go absolutely nowhere!

IMO the only positive about Extinction is the volcano. I can't wait to see that thing erupt! :D

I thought it was an extinc volcano...hence the name

Hm, never thought of it that way... I always thought it was an island where the Vanu capitol was, and since there is no more Vanu race... therefore the name Extinction. (I may have thought to much about that) :doh:
