View Full Version : A poll! E

This should settle the discussion on "OMG OMG 40 SLOTS + CASTE SYSTEM = ME NOT AT PSU:MB".

GOOD means that you are fiscally sound, are on good standing with your parents and have already talked to them, and you are willing to take this risk. Good does not mean "My parents will probably think so after I talk to them."

This poll is public.

Bay Area Einne. More like 10 hours away, but it will still work. I will pay the application fee out of my pocket and drive my dads car down if i have to. I will be able to drive by then (WOOT) and my dad dosent use his car much. He probably wouldnt miss it for a few days. So yeah, I will be at PSU:MB.*

if so, awesome. :D

I think PSU community members should have spots availible the same time as CDL and SoV. SoV, CDL and PSU are completely seperate, just because some of the admins are active with them doesnt mean everyone else in the outfit gets special privelges.

I hope there are more than the normal 50 slots. Chances are, everyone in PSUMA will be wanting to go again, so that's 30 slots out. 20 slots left; filled by CDL and VoS, perhaps leaving around 6 or 7 slots for PSU people. That'll leave the rest of the community with like 2 slots.

Yeah, so those who oppose the "caste system" don't really understand that we're doing it so that you PSU people can get a chance to go before the n00bs from the OF fill up the registration slots.

Why dont you just not let OF's come, since everyone hates them?

well, that's not entirely true, since some OF people actually learned about PSU via the mobilization (and came) such as drankensoul, glassfox, patchy13, and mopy - and they were definitely cool.

however, that's effectively what we're doing here.

assuming that 28 people who came to psuma attend psumb, that's 12 spots left.

mani and lart may come, that's 10 spots

from cdl, maybe 2 more people, and the same from sov, that's six spots left

from psu, depending on who gets there first, i'll just guess some names, like dhark, aztec, hezzy, rayder, ivan, SDM... yeah, that pretty much fills it, right there

I don't know if I've developed enough "Karma" to be considered a "top-tier" PSU'er. What I mean is that if let's say Everay and I were competing for the last slot, I'm almost positive that Everay would get the slot and I wouldn't.

*shrugs* But beyond that I'm 95% sure I can attend, assuming I can get a slot.

Chewy, I don't think you _really_ comprehend the idea.

Everyone on PSU has equal footing as far as registration goes - Martyr and I will hypothetically open the doors to you guys about two hours after we open it for PSU:MA attendees and SoV/CDL, and a full hour or so before we open it up to the general public (i.e. the OF). Everything with registration will be electronic - Martyr and I won't be behind the scenes, "Well, we know him better, so let's let him in" - if you pay and register on time, you're in.

None as of now.

Martyr and I are taking a breather after Alpha before we start diving into Bravo.

We're looking at the basic ballpark estimate of around $400. The final number could be $100 less or $100 more, I don't know yet, but I'm just letting you know so you can generally estimate how much you need to save on top of airfare.

ChewyLSB
2004-08-25, 04:47 PM
Well roundtrip from Newark to San Diego is $300... and then worst case scenario the price will be $500... so that makes $800 for me... shouldn't be too bad.

The poll has been created to alieviate fears, not stir them up. As you can see, the new caste system should not be a bar for PSU:MB.

We don't live an hour away. Try 3-4.

And I thought PSUMB was on a hotel system, like MA.
Driving back and forth seriously would not be an option.

I talked to my dad about both MA and MB and he hinted somewhat at the idea of going. Of course this was me telling him it was in San Diego...It's possible but I'd have to have more facts and it would definitely have to be an earlier date.
