Ahhh bugs

This happened to me today on Markov, and I was wondering if anyone else noticed or had it happen to them.

I had just respawned at an AMS on Searhus, attacking Akua. I snuck around the back of the base, and into the backdoor. Being my sneaky self, I tried to hack the CC. An NC MAX fired at me, and I took 50 damage. I ran off, hid, healed myself, and continued to run into the spawn room where about 20 NC stood in their standard armor. I pull out an ACE and attempt to place a boomer with no luck. The little circle never turned green.

Meanwhile, the MAX returns so I run down into the room adjacent to the spawns. An NC in standard follows me and he tries to kill me...I take no damage. I try to kill him with everything I have (Even the knife) and he takes no damage. He says that the equip terms aren't working either. An enemy cloaker then runs up to me and killed me, and everything immediately begins working again.

Is this just my character/computer, or was it happening to anyone else?
Does this happen often?

Hmm, I notice the Enhanced Targeting bug (which forced me to trade it in) and having an enemy step on my boomer and not even get hurt when I blow it up. This game will never be bug free but it is good that the problems usually are rare (well the really bad ones that is)

my guess is that you had some major packet loss when it happens things dont work immedately like doors and hurting people it will look like you are hurting them but they wont take any damage bummer i know :( o well gotta live with it ;)

The other night I placed a boomer at the foot of a Prowler driver who was repairing his ride, set it off and he took no damage. He got in and drove away (he'd heard the Boomer I assume) right away and I wrote it off as a fluke. At that moment a crippled Lightning drove past me towards an enemy tower. I tailed it, got there and saw the guy repairing it. I put a Boomer under his feet, backed off and detonated. He took no damage. I pulled out my knife, got a stab on him and he started making evasive maneuvers. I missed one stab, finally landed the second one and he dropped dead. I sent him a tell about how it was odd that my Boomer hadn't killed him by his Lightning. His response?

"I wasn't by the Lightning. I had just spawned at the tower and heard your knife, that's the reason I came out."

Usually when you have problems like reloading weapons and having trouble influencing your surroundings, its due to high packet loss, at least from my experience.

Sounds similar to the time I was in a friendly tower in the spawn, heard a door get hacked, and ran upstairs, flicked on DL and saw a cloaker hacking the CC. I pull out my Bolt Driver to one-shot kill him, and right before I fire my shot into him, he turns about 90 degrees. Then my round hits him, I see him flinch, and he dissapears from existance. No kill spam, no dead body, nothing. I immediately spun around and didn't see him running up/down the stairs. Didn't hear him activate any implants either. I searched the tower with DL, didn't find him anywhere, didn't hear any doors open to indicate that someone was going outside. It was wierd. POW, and he just was gone.

Something like that happened to me once: I went out cloaking /sniping for about 10min before it got fixed. I nailed people right and left. I must have been able to kill ten people, but ONE died. Then a cloaker knifes me. All of a sudden, the moment i respawn, all those people who were supposed to die....just...died....i got the exp for it too. and got tells from about twenty people that said i was hacking.....REALLY wierd.


Then I get this REAL annoying bug on alt characters that makes it so NONE of my weapons work. not one. no matter what. after about five-10 min of play everything just stops...

I fire the weapon, i expend ammo, but it is like i'm shooting blanks. I can't reload, but i can change ammo types. When I do it's like the ammo I had previously used in the last clip...had never been used at all.....REAL annoyed me and only happened on alts....
