Who else is thrilled with MA DD changes?

I've gotta say, ever since the devs changed the Damage Degredation on all of the MA weapons, I've never had a better killcount per session.

What does everyone think? I find Cycler is best for distanced indoor combat and long range when a target has no cover, while a Gauss is great at taking targets at the maximum MA distance when behind cover.

That, along with sniping, have made me an effective infantryman. :D

MA and AV are probably the two most important certs you can have on the Battle Islands. Especially on Ascension.

Give your gauss another try, you might be suprised.

Well I think they should actually make the suppressor silenced. Not this stupid watergun sounding crap they have in right now. Make it like a real silenced gun, so all we hear is the shell hitting the ground. Then, remove the tracers, and you have a gun with some use.

I <3 my gauss. Takes down HA in outdoor enviroments. When the fun moves inside I pull out my trusty JH and continue to own.

Little bit of fire control can make any MA weapon just as accurate and a hell of a lot more damaging.

Also, considering the suppressor takes no cert points it's unlikely it's going to be enhanced, ever.

I like the suppressor sound :(

You'd also be suprised how well it kills people at range due to its accuracy :)

I think the change for MA is great. One reason is because I have tons more to kill with my Thumper now. Try to fire on me behind a tree, rock or on a wall? I didnt think so :)

Gave up HA a while back and went straight Sniping / AV / Cycler. The Cycler is a beast now more than ever. With AP, and well placed shooting, you can take a MAX from full health / armor.

Don't know why, but everytime I get killed by a suppressor, either at range or whatever, I get so mad. It sucks.

The suppressor is not a mainstream weapon. Its only use is supposed to be when u hop out of the spawn tubes, and then die, OR when u decide u want to kill ppl with it, and then ppl are like "Dammit, i got pwned by a suppressor!!"

I love gauss, and i've ranted on this before. I'm glad its much more effective now
