Hello,
Before I was a Prowler driver and when i wasn't in a squad, i would take ramdom people for gunners. I would head into battle and the gunners would kill ennnemies and had all the XPs which I thought i was UNFAIR :bang: because I was driving the tank, I was the one who got them into battle with a vehicule...

So, my idea was to instore XPs awards to drivers when a gunner of their vehicules would kill an ennemy :D .

Plus, this would increase the number of vehicules which could be very usefull ;) .

This has been suggested a buzzillion times before, and the devs said ages ago they'd look into it, but nothing has happened... :(
It should work like squad XP sharing does.

Also we need a Vehicle chat.

Granted, they have done that, but people have been requesting Vehicle xp since before even Core Combat.

Very true, but I mean since they announced that they were working on it :)

Yeah, I guess so. It just seems that it shouldn't be too hard to make: after all, they have the basic coding because you get it through squads, so basically they just need to make the vehicle "crew" (not passengers, obv) into a fexible squad of sorts. I dunno, I'd just really like to see this, especially for in time with the BFRs release (that crew is gonna get a lot of XP, and with the 2nd gunner the driver can fire, but I'll be betting they'll be a bit too busy trying to avoid dying to do much shooting in big battles.

Shared vehicle XP between non-squadded gunners and the driver (not passengers), plus a vehicle chat channel are scheduled for a future patch. It's a ways out there, but it's comming.

Thats why there are 'squads'. You are encouraged to work with your squad.

You know people don't always to be in a squad while playing PS  . Vehicle chat sould be very useful to tell where targets are...

And, I hope you are right EarlyDawn!

Famous last words for many a developer :D

Well, I do agree with it. Some people like to play "solo" but like the gunner/driver aspect of it.

And what happens it the driver and the gunner(s) are in different squads?

Example:

Prowler. 1 driver, 2 gunners

say you have a full platoon. 30 people. 10 drivers, 20 gunners.

That means that to man the last prowler, you will have to use that "extra" person from all three squads. That's the only reason I'm for it.

I spose. I just play different, and i will try and have a more unbiased view from now on.
Its just when im soloing, im actually soloing, no gunning, or etc.
