question about fee

will stores be selling pre paid cards?? and if they do, will i need to put a credit card number still?

In the dev chat they said they would find an alternate way to pay so those without credit cards could play.

good because i want this game so bad, but i dont want my parents to pay for it every month, so ill just buy pre paid cards

i bet they'll figure a way such that the EQ cards out there are compatible with this so they don't have to make 2 different products and just put on the packaging that it's good for one or the other (note, i'm not saying that it can be used for both games at the same time, you choose which when you put the code in)

i also have another question.. after the however many months of the card expires, when i log on , do i put another subscription number in there? and will it save my characters?

They WILL save your char im sure, that would be very bad for business otherwise. Im sure that the way that they have it set up that a save file for a char is just a small text file, so there is no reason to get rid of it.

and about the subscription #, im sure that that is how it works, that or auto billing perhaps, who knows. Im sure we will know soon*

Yea, most of the time the companies hope that you will return so generally they keep your account untill the next world reset, which generally takes about 4 or 5 months give or take a month :)
and at that time they generally reset the characters anywayl, at least in the games that i have played.

The game won't reset, but what you say about characters is right. Generally it doesn't take much to keep them saved, so they won't delete your account. However, if they do it probably would be after a fairly long period of time.

If they use the game cards, the closest thing I can compair them to is a prepaid calling card you have so many days to play on it then you buy another. They may even come in different amounts like 1 to 3 months.
