I swear on my life, if you're ever pissed off, like SEVERELY pissed off because of a person, listen to this song:
"Get Gone" by Fiona Apple
Don't scoff because it's Fiona Apple - that woman perfectly captured the essence of being scorned and being pissed off. Blare it, you'll feel so much better afterwards.
But when you're emo-depressed,
"Fade Into You" by Mazzy Star
-or-
"Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness" by Smashing Pumpkins
are rather good.

Usually rock, but then there's some hip hop and rap making its way in to my playlist. Either way if I like the song and if it pumps me up, it's going full blast.

Rage Against The Machine, Queens Of The Stone Age (Mosquito song, y'all?), Staind (when angry)
Brit bands:
Kasabian, Snow Patrol, Ash, Radiohead, The Killers, Feeder, Doves, Elbow, IdleWild, Feeder, Blur, Beck & The Bees.
And when I wanna just have some classy dance, I go with the Chemical Brothers.
Oh, and Weezer sometimes, along with the Wannadies.

meh. All the Brit bands I listed are.
They're my "play it loud when you're pissed off" bands.
I was gonna say. Me being an Industrial-slut, I should never recognize the names of indie bands. Didnt know a one from that brit band list, which was cool, but the rest of them were like "Hello. We are mainstream. How are you?"
MrPaul
2004-08-30, 07:12 PM
You didn't recognise Radiohead?
OMGOSH. Merh. Yeah, I find all the bands that become popular about a year later. Some of those bands are super huge now (:( ) But I found 'em first. (sorta)
Oh, and Beck, mainstream, but I  him because he's cool. And has been in Futurama.
