I was wondering when a base was captured, does it say what outfit captured it, or is there any recognition at all?

Going by when the vehicles get jacked they turn color and have the empire symbols to who has control of it at that time, the buildings must do the same maybe not all of them. Here is a link to what I'm talking about. http://www.planetside-universe.com/media/viewer.php?img_id=336 look at the empire specific flags hanging on the tower.

I doubt it. I am betting that it will just tell everone that the base has been captured by your faction.

Who else thinks "All you base are belong to us" is going to get old very quickly?

Alot of stat are logged..... including how many times you capture a base, kill things, etc etc etc, Dave said alot of outfit stats are tracked too... again prolly things like Total bases hacked, captured, ppl killed and things like that... I do doubt however it make an announcement or state "team XXXXX has captured Epsilon Delta" or whatever..

It may happen that an outfit will be able to claim a base after it is captured. They do it in Dark Ages of Camelot. There are some benifits to capturing it too. You get information when enemies begin to attack it (maybe an outfit can get radar feedback from the base instead), their guild emblem is flown above the keep (same could apply here), on the internet information it says that guild has the keep (same here), etc.

The devs did say that a wide varity of stats will be tracked. It will be very interestion to be able to see your indepth personal stats to track your performance along with all the other ones they wil have.

I dont think it announces the actual outfit, just that the base has been taken by x empire.

But like someone else mentioned, stats like that are logged and you will probably be able to look back on it. :)
