Ehh, too short, and the standard 'Wow them up front so they buy the game, then fill the other 24 levels with absolute crap'.
I don't see how that small of a level could be 550 MB, the whole game must be like 30 gigs.

It was awesome, although it was short, it was probably the best WWII shooter Ive played. and Ive played em all. when this comes out itll blow CoD out of the water.

yea it is a bit odd that a small level is so huge, but why would they make the other 24 levels suck? thats the dumbest theory Ive ever heard. between Iwo Jima and Wake Island, this game calls for some very intense combat. even though Ive always been more of a fan for the European theatre...

Well it was more along the lines of not being Quake in WW2, which MoH is.

All MOH games are like that, the first level is very "movie like" and awesome, and the rest are all "behind enemy lines" crap. Also, why is it you can only command the troops some of the time, and other times you can't, randomly?
ALSO, the AI is HORRIBLE, I can't tell you how many times I ran right by a ***, then he takes cover FACING ME, pops out, turns around, and shoots at me. I mean, wtf?

the AI isnt horrible. its just a demo, theres still some bugs to work out. also, all the levels in Pacific Assault are movie-like, Guadalcanal(sp?) isnt the first level, Pearl Harbor is. this MOH game is much, much more advanced that Allied Assault. there is no "behind enemy lines" crap in it, every level is based on a real conflict.

I'm not saying it sucks, i'm just saying it's not that good. I'll still "buy" it, though.
Provided it isn't 13 million gigs.

Is it somewhat like Rising Sun for PS2? If so:
It Will Suck.
If not..

Dhark does the same thing with sex. He says he'll get it "legally" and then he runs into Hamma's house and falls into my trap of doom. HAMMA IS MINE, ONLY I MAY RAPE HIM

Hmm, with a 500+ waiting list, a Fileplanet subscription is starting to look more and more attractive. By the way, do you think my computer (2.6 Ghz Processor, 512 MB DDR-333 RAM, Radeon 9250) will be able to run this well?

You guys ever think that maybe a game is made up on more than just the maps? Maps make up a small amount of the game, file-size wise. In order to make a demo, you need the entire engine there. If this particular level used a lot of the modles and textures from the rest of the game, it will be big in filesize. If it didnt, it would be small.

I played it just now, im impressed with the engine, and im impressed with the gameplay, somewhat, i need to edit the keybindings to my CoD settings, but besides that it was fun, i thought it was pretty freaky to be on the ground almost dead, waiting for a medic, looking around, towards the sky, to all of a sudden see a *** thrust his bayonet into me.

Yeah, that's one thing I thought was awesomely implemented, the "Shell shock" stuff.

I set the visual graphics too high, adn it lags. Now I cant change them.
Im jsut not excited enough about this game to care to fix it.

Very polished so far. I like the medic system, and how your squad actually makes an effort to cover the medic. Also, the commanding, while simple, actually works extremely well. The soldiers actually saying your character's name really adds to the immersion I think, as well as your character's voice itself. I too need to re-arrange the key-bindings, but I think the game will do very well when the full is released.
I also like the new physics, such as the barrels moving when pushed and shot...as well as your character lurching to the sides, back, or front depending where he's jabbed with a bayonet. 9/10 for a Demo

The only thing it shares with Rising Sun is the Pacific Theatre. Rising Sun was little more then a mod for Frontline. This will be 100000000x better then that.

Meh, all WW2 Games suck, its just an excuse for lack of creativity, lack of story, and for EA to re-write the history of the world.
I have the same view on BF:V. I thought the americans lost terribly in that war... Just our friend EA trying to brainwash everyone...
Oh noes! They're tryin brain wash us all and turn us into pussies so it's easyer to over throw the country! EA must be the crab people!
