Smart Parts sucks. None of their guns are made from quality materials. They also sued half the damned companies that make electros because of their ghey patent. AGD = Best Customer Service/ Highest Quality Equipment

The Karnivor is a POS stock. It is just a regular WGP cocker with some fancy milling and a cool name. It needs a shitload of ups to be a respectable cocker.

Hey Smart Parts rocks. Ive had an Impulse now for over 2 years and it never fails me. Not once has it broken down or missed me a shot.

You can't say that until you have tried most other guns out there. I have owned every gun up there(simply by trading and sometimes adding a little money) except an intimidator and tippmann, and the impulse is pretty close to the worst performance wise. It is pretty good if you don't have more than $400 - $500 to spend, but I still think it is a bit overpriced. BTW, a nerve IS an impulse...

This title sucks. "Favorite Paintball Brand?" That implies the topic is what brand of paintballs you like.
I'm not a fan of Smart Parts, they use cheap parts and they have horrible business tactics. I'm not saying you should not defend your patens but to make such a broad paten in the first place is just evil. I Like Tippmann cause their guns are very reliable, and they are built to be used and abused. I'm currently a Matrix fan. Only things that bother me about Matrices is they are gas hogs due to their design. The Smart Parts 03 Shocker is basically a rip off of the Matrix. Now with K2 buying out Autococker they are defending their patens too. So youll see less of the Autococker clones out there. But at least they arent being as evil as Smart Parts. And now the Garner (sp?) brothers BOTH owning a team in the NXL thats another thing that pisses me off. They are basically making a monopoly in the NXL. I could go on but I have to leave right now...

Make your own? Are you saying build your own gun as in mill the entire body out of a block of aluminum and cut yourself a bolt out of delrin? Do you know how to make a spring or a valve? I'm guessing your saying build your own AUTOCOCKER. As in buy all high quality parts and not a premade one and put it together. Yes, that is easy. That is what I did and why mine is superior to 99% of the ones massively produced. Explain plz.

I can make a body and stuff like that, but you machined your own pneumatics and such by yourself? I have built cockers out of parts and stuff, thats what I think your talknig about. I seriously doubt you machined all the parts of it. Pics plz.
BTW, I personally like ANS guns. My old Gen-X 3 worked pretty well, but what you will here from most people is ANS = Always Needs Service.

actually i had one of my friends (40 some year old paintball field owner) do the machining on the body, but i bought most of the parts and built the first one gradually ove ra 6-8 month period, the second one turned out better...have you ever had a problem with your ANS? ive never had a problem with mine nore have i heard of anybody complain about one...thats a first for me

Well my field has a TON of very competitive high level tournament players as regulars. Any cocker that isn't Ebladed or Raceframed with Nexus Kit is a POS in their minds. I used to have problems with my LPR just jumping all over the place and needing to be reset practically every trip to the field. Then I sold it got a Matrix and sold that and built my current cocker. The body took like a week to get all of the milling done.
Hmm. Tippmann is in the lead? Airgun Designs(AGD) pwns all.

WTF
The Karnivor is easily the BEST gun out there, up there with the DM4, son. you obviously dont know shit about paintball if you think the karnivor sucks. research your markers a bit before you call them pieces of shit, asshole.
also, Smart Parts does have a little edgy business tactics (stealing all of WDP's teams in the NPPL, especially Dynasty). but their guns are reliable, perform extremely well, especially the Nerve. if you think the Nerve is just another Impulse, then you obviously have never fired one. My brother's Shocker 03 works very, very well. Other then problems with the Maxflo system, its very reliable and has never set either of us back on the field.
and regarding Tippman, theyre *good* guns, they can take a harder beating then any other marker by far (I mean, try running over a timmy in a truck). but seriously, after a while you need to graduate to the next level. Tippman Effect in the NPPL uses Tippman A5s that were as modified as can be, and it still sets them back on the field.

There is a public paintball park about a block from my house, every other week or so a bunch of fucktards go down there and play and spray paintballs all over the neighborhood in the process. One day they hit my band new car...and pissed me off, so the next time they went over there I got up on my roof where I could see the arena easily, with two things, a six pack of mountain dew (to consume while I waited for them to do something stupid) and my $900 airsoft rifle (w 5 co2 canisters of course :) and plenty of ammo ) about twenty minutes later the small band of teenagers got bored with shooting each other, and went out on the street and shot my neighbors house. So I started firing at the little pricks. They only wear masks, and my airsoft rifle fucking hurts on skin (I can tell because of the level of cussing when I shoot someone with it from 50 yards). Needless to say they left immediatley. I havent seen them in the past six months.

Yes you are right A5's can't shoot as fast as those.
IAO is not Pro, they were not playing against Pro teams. Team skills plays more of a part than the guns the team uses...
They are Pro now, playing better teams and are ranked 24th out of only 37. That's about mid range, with "rental guns."

Don't combat my argument by calling me an asshole...
The Karnivor? Best gun out there? Wow, you obviously have no idea how an autococker even works. The Karnivor is made up of almost ALL STO parts. It may have fancy milling and an inverted reg, but those are both cosmetic. Oh wait, the Karnivor has a clamp feed. Whoops, it IS the best gun out there...
You are making yourself look like a complete moron if you try to argue with me. The Karnivor is just an STO with some fancy milling and a Worrblade. Anyone who wants to argue with me, I suggest you do some research first.
Squeeky-
BTW, those A5s practically aren't even A5s. The internals are COMPLETELY custom made to match any other high end gun out. The trigger is the same way, EASILY as light as my old Alias trigger. Those things are ripped. It is basically a Timmy/DM4/(Enter High End Gun Here) with a stiff rubber body. (Got to shoot one of them at the Memphis Indoor)...

in the past months they have built up so much in the states. there is such a high demand for them, they can't keep up with the demand right now. we competed in the Golden Triangle Quebec. the GT is the largest circuit in North America. its awesome, we're the only english speaking team there. if anyone lives in the north country of NY state or anywhere near it, pm me and we can play some paintball.

spyder is a good starting gun, and so is tippy, but tippy's can also be used in tourney's. my friend picked up an A5, he put the E-trig on it. sick gun, rips pretty well, but not like my Cybi :D
JC Whittington of Bad Company uses a Spyder. And he rocks the field.
It's 10% gun and %90 skill that makes the player.
