Re-subbing question

I'm thinking about resubbing for a month and seeing what has changed in the full year since I have played planetside. My problem (and question) is that I have long forgotten my account name and I doubt it even exists anymore. That said does anyone know if it is possible to create a new account from the activation key that came with my copy planetside, the same one I used for my first account? I want to resub but I would rather not have to hunt down a new copy of PS.

edit: I'd post this on the OFs but I think you need an account, which i don't have.

I believe the key is tied to your station account. Your station account will still be there, your characters may not.

As to what your account name is.... don't know how to help you with that :(

Your account still exists.
Your characters can be restored, simply by contacting CSR's via the "CHAT" button on the launchpad.

I know two members of my outfit who recently stopped playing City of Heroes
Came back to PlanetSide, and got their all their characters restored just how they were.
I was pretty impressed.


If you have ever posted on the new OF forums.
Just search down some post your made, and bingo you got the name.

Alternatively if you ever payed with a credit card.
You could perhaps phone SOE customer service.
See if you could wrangle something with that.
