I had to make a serious choice today. I changed my main over to TR emerald from VS Markov. Did i make the right choice? Here's what i went by:
Pros:
I kick ass with mcg
I don't kick ass with lasher or even pulsar
My bro is giving me a very high rank in his outfit
I was an OL, but it was turning inactive and AUGGHHH
Cons:
I have to get used to all the ppl on this new server. On markov i knew by name basically every cr5.
I downgraded myself 4 crs
So what do u think? was i right?
Ohh... edit: congrats hamma on getting married :groovy:

Least you didn't pick Werner NC ;P
Nah, I play VS Markov. Or did atleast.
I think you made the right decision.
Mainly because you can team up with your bro and wreak some havoc ;P
So which VS Markov outfit were you in?
-
Hrmm, now I'm tempted to say you just crewed with the wrong guys ;P
27 person outfit, 13 active members, created under 2 months ago
Weak on Transport, Heavy on Infiltrators, Heavy on ReXos
Bellum Aeternus (http://www.bellumaeternus.com/), Rebells, Raging Primates, Warrior Nation, Wolf Brigade, or WITM
Might have shown ya a better time.
Ah well :D Hopefully you got some good outfit support on Emerald.
TR Emerald is notoriously bad on CR5 organisation ;P

anything besides the VS is okay with me. I would pick to fight the TR over the VS anyday because the TR dont lasher spam you and they are easy to kill

we dont do that anymore. At least to my knowledge. But there are certain areas of the 666th that are very organized so if you havnt played with us dont insult us. Cause odds are our outfit has saved your ass one or two times. But yes I do admit the outfit has done that so you are partially right. But dont go insulting us. Just because we are big doesnt mean we are unorganized or have no skill.

we have changed since the last time youve played with us. At least the group I play with. There are many sections and I only know a lot about the group I hang with

Changing empires usually keeps the game fresh. I'd have to say it is a good choice (and yes the MCG fucking owns).

I saw six consecutive OS's once at a base we were trying to take. The NC were doing thier damnest to keep us from taking it...we still took it.

Unless you enjoy the unorganized teamwork, then the Emerald TR is not for you!
The TR on Emerald is so unorganized, that during a massive assault on the staircases in a base, and you do a V - N - R (We Need Repairs) or a V - V - R (I Need Reconstruction), you can't get a single person to repair you!
The TR organization is a joke.
Other than that, the TR are fun to play as.

That's not really bad organisation, and it's not a problem that only affects TR Emerald.

You = clearly an ignorant powergaming n00b. If Emerald TR don't repair you, it's because they know you're a fourth-empire Fairweather Johnson, *OR* you annoyed the shit out of everyone by spamming the fuck out of V-N-R to the point that we leave you to die. I know I certainly would, if I didn't just sigh and stab you myself - I hate spammers.
Or maybe it's just that you follow the zerg like a good little powergaming Jackspammer zergling, and you've yet to squad up with the big boys. Quite possibly though, you're spamming as you run around aimlessly, on foot and looking for the most direct auto-run path to battle (instead of getting a tank like the smart people - ever notice TR has a problem with vehicles?). Healing and repair doesn't work when you're moving. Word to the wise. You might know this, but you'd be surprised at the insane amount of fucking tools that act like spamming jackasses, then spam it up further on /broadcast, proclaiming that TR sucks because nobody repaired his five points of damage that he got from stepping in front of a moving tank.
For the record, if you're bashing shitty CR5s for Terran/Emerald, then you're basing all your information on the past, or you're simply making generalized statements about stereotypical events. There are quite a few good commanders, and most people are too busy listening to the 14-year old chess prodigy IDIOTS that think Cyssor is a good fight, or they're too busy getting a consensus of shitbag CR5s to speak up over /global to trump decent calls, so that they can feel justified in feeding us to the meat grinder and then bailing when shit goes south.
In other words, if you're not in an outfit that coordinates with other outfits, and don't give me that "well we have three people active that squads with another outfit that jsut started" bullshit... then you're probably playing with zerglings. Ask your outfit members why you're still in the dark ages. Ask your outfit leader why he/she hasn't gotten off his egotistical ass and joined up with the cooperating teams. Ask your outfit command why they're remaining on the sidelines, and what massive chip is on their shoulder or what stick is lodged far up their ass. Either that, or leave and join an outfit that works well and plays well with others.
I suggest you check out one of three major coordination efforts.
One- KAAOS-sponsored CR4/CR5/Outfit Leader forums
Two- ULTRA Alliance
Three- TR Overwatch, the Enclave-sponsored alliance
I don't need to give URLs. Anyone who is worth anything already knows where to find at least two of these. So if you don't, ask yourself why some of the most anti-social minds are there.

TR Emerald Outfits are arguably the best. Now hold out before you flame me:
Our zerg....sucks.....
Our cr5 global spamming idiot leadership....sucks.....
AND, until recently, our weapons all sucked too. But that changed to ignore this point.
SO: We have awesome outfits to pick up the slack. Firefly leads BWC, which is a highly organized outfit, and though he may be too modest to admit it, that outfit is also execptionally successful and highly praised. Also we have: HMX-1, the Enforcers, KAAOS, Archangels, Band of Bros, and an inumberable ammount of small, organized, specialized outfits.
You looking for organization in this game, look no further than TR-E's oufits. If ANYTHING is successful on TR-E, it is because of the outfits, and their supurb leadership.

I've played 2 sides on Emerald, TR and NC for quite a while. Everybody on TR that's get's wooped thinks "OMG the TR fucking suck the NC never do dumb shit like this" Guess again, both empires have mostly the same problems, however. They do have strong points, I would say that the TR as a whole, are just like Cauldron said, they suck. But individually, in Outfits and alliances, pretty awesome. The NC do have good zerg leadership via CR5s.

That was Sturmgrenadier filimg their new video, buncha OSs go'in off at once.

I've seen the TR do the same thing - that hill directly west of Seth, on Solsar, between the road and the base wall. TR commanders got together and just started slamming that hill because of the massive wall of NC crowded there launching Phoenixes into the base. We also had some Flails up in the hills on the northeast side that were pounding the crap out of them... Counter-Battery style.

I'm not the outfit leader, GrimReaper02184 is. I'm the second-in-command. I don't think it's modesty, either. I just prefer to think of the outfit as a team player rather than admit something I am not aware of. Organized? Yes. Successful? Possibly... we have been around in the same form since exclusive beta - is that success? How does one even define that in this game? Highly-praised? Well I can think of a few outfits that might take issue with that, since they have some grudges they are reluctant to let go of... shame, wasting that energy on your allies... As far as I know though, the only "high praise" we've had is from our allies on forums, and once that guy from PS Radio apparently mentioned us.

there, see? you got a radio ad, for free. That makes you well known, at least. And sorry for the mix up in Chain of Command. I coulda sworn you were the leader. You deffinatly take a very active role in your outfit, so it is easy to get confused on that matter.
Yeah because you get to play with your brother you can still keep your VS Markov though so it's fine.

CB I think you got that idea in your head from him organizing ULTRA, I used to think the same.
