1984: A pesticide plant in India owned by Union Carbide (now owned by Dow) had a gas leak, killing more than 8,000. The person responsible has fleed and nobody's cleaning it up.

I saw this on TV once. In like the top ten industrial disasters ever on FX or something like that. Scary stuff.

Scary as fuck.

You're all asleep, then you wake up choking and blinded by pesticides and you're deformed for life.

They pretty much gave up their lives so that others could be saved. They knew they were going to die when they went in to clean it up. You shouldn't laugh at sacrifice like that.

I'm not laughing at the guys trying to clean it up... I respect that... I'm laughing at the news fools running around the top of the building taking videos... They gave their lives for a good story.

Or did you not read what I said? I said nothing about the people cleaning the mess up...

The people cleaning were the ones taking videos.

It's a hurricane warning flag. It's temporary, until these damned storms stop coming our way.
