I found the game pretty cheap used and figured what the hell. Its a good game. I can't say I liked any of the other UT games, but this one is really fun. Anyone else play this game here? We should play together some time.

There are some really great mods.

ActionUT (Came out today)
Frag.Ops (wait for version 2.0)
and Red Orchestra

among others.

Dawn of Destiny (Star wars mod) is very, very, very well done. my other favorites are Deathball and SAS.

Never played the full game online, only the demo. Got the full game, lost interest before I finished the SP campaign.

Unreal Tournament was the daddy though :)

Not something i'd buy, but i had alot of fun with the Demo. Especially with the PSU guys on Hamma's server :D :D :groovy:

Yup......I still play UT2004 regularly. Not to mention some of the mods out there are simply amazing and consume a lot of my playing time. Red Orchestra, NeoTokyo, Deathball, Dawn of Destiny, and Alien Swarm are mods that you really need to check out.

How can I find the space ship combat maps that are shown on the back of the box. All the games I have found are infantry maps.

one of the assault maps has alot of space combat.

Are my options fucked up or is there no aiming reticule in Red Orchastra?

No reticule, check the keymapping, you have to use ironsights. Also, you have no ammo counter, just the amount of clips or magazines or whatever you have left.

The game's pretty realistic.

wow that's cool, "almost" makes me want to buy the game just to try out the mod.
