The Sims 2

So I acquired the Sims 2 recently, and finally got around to playng it (WoW servers are down)

I made a bachelor character (i havent played in years, I figured 1 guy would be easier to take care of)

Well, things got crazy from then on.

It started off well enough, but then i met the neighbors (Especially Brandi :brow: ) and things went Soaring uphil, then plumiting downhill within an hour.

So, in the next post Ill include the story and pictures.

So I made my character, named him matt, and moved him into a modest pachelor pad. Small, but has everything I need and will let me save money for stuff/the future.

So i move in, find a job (military) and decide to relax for the night.

I mean, personally, I think SWG is one of the most broken games out there, but if I see an SWG topic created by people who like the game, I'm not going to burst in there and start posting about how much SWG sucks.

Personally, I think The Sims is a pretty good game, but I think it's only really fun if you play to fail, and not to succeed. It's always fun to see how the sims are going to react to certain situations, and besides, succeeding in The Sims truly isn't that difficult.

On an on-topic note, are all of the features from the past expansions in The Sims 2? Or are they going to make an expansion pack entitled "The Sims 2: All the shit that should've been there"?

I love The Sims 2, I stopped playing the sims after the last good expansion pack (Vacation). Then Maxis handed expansions off to another developer and started making Celebrity, Puppy Dog, Pets, Magic Shit. I like TS2 because it includes a little bit of Living Large, House Party, Hot Date, and Vacation.

I enjoy the Sims for the following reasons:

1) I am one of those people who think I know everything. That is to say, I think everyone would be better off if they'd just listen to me. Some call me a "control freak", so give me a game where I control every aspect of someone's life and I am SO in.

2) The Sims isn't like everyday life. I don't get to build a house and get a job as a vet and marry and kill people in my every day life. I also don't have money to spend on things like, say, genie lamps or paintings.

And the game is sweet.
