Ack, I've just commited a copyright infringement against a registered trademark right there..

Anyway, this here post concerns fyrn. As some of you may or may not be aware, fyrn owns MMOhell, that hosts PSU. As such PSU has a vested interested in not getting on the wrong side of fyrn and that's fair enough.

What this does not give fyrn however is a blank-cheque to be a powercrazed maniac on IRC and quite frankly I'd think that fyrn is not responsible or mature enough to be opped in #ps-universe, as he/she/it demonstrated today. The full log of the drama can be found below. What really gets me is the hypocrisy he/she/it shows with the PSR/AGN issue, which PSU, PSR and AGN members ALL disagreed with.

And it effectively ended there. While I may or may not be guilty of baiting fyrn, I'd like to think I'm guilty of trying to get my point of view across and getting banned for it. Not only getting banned but being compared to a child molester. Yay, that's fun, we like that sort of op in #ps-universe. Last time I checked people came onto IRC to chat and exchange points of view, not to be laid waste at the mercy of a ego-fascist op on a powertrip.

It's mindbogglingly obvious that (s)he abused his/her power in that conversation. It was a case of "I'm right, agree with me even though I insulted you and the rest of the Planetside Community on numerous occasions, or I'll ban you.".
