:( I kinda wanted it to stay as just FFVII, they could ruin it with adding a poor game to it. FFVII: Advent Children could be interesting, who knows? I kinda want to play FFVII all over again, but it ruins it when you know whats gonna happen. :'(

Tobal No. 1....damn your right, okay, well excluding that one, they make good games, Einhander was awesome, and so are their other lesser known games, Chocobo racing, chocobo dungeon, bouncer, ect ect. and this one will be a straight up RPG, they know that shit.

The Bouncer wasn't that great IMO.

But yeah, if it is an RPG (They say it's unconfirmed, could be an action adventure, seeing as he used to be a Turk n all) then it should pizzown.

I felt that FFX and FFX-2 were excellently made, and 2 was better than the first, with the new dresspheres. They can only go up really. I think they'll make something really unique like always.

well, this is set in a technological future, and its main character is vincent, sooo it should be a dark game, not up and bonucy like FFX-2

i'm sorry, but i'd love to play FFVII (in my oppinion, the best Final Fantasy) again with better graphics and what not. this'll be cool, but it was the story in FFVII that made me love it so much. Who else remembers climbing Shinra Tower? Who else remembers Midgar? The cannon? The first time you saw the big fucking airship? What about when you found out the truth about cloud? How about the first time you watched Sephiroth walking into the fire in the cut scene in Cloud's little flashback OMFGHAX!

there are so many parts in that damn game that i'll never ever forget. When you ran up the tower to the top of the plate and stopped to talk to your fallen Avalanche buddies. Wedge, Jess, Biggs.. come on! That game was so memorable. They need to remake it. That may just be my opinion, but that's how i feel on the matter. They need to remake it. I'd just play the Shinra Tower part over and over and over and over and over

Thats not what I meant. No matter what mood they have for the game, the gameplay should be excellent.

You want a bad Square RPG? Unlimited Saga.

Everay
2004-09-20, 10:57 PM
ahhh, yes, i forgot about that, but if you must point out Unlimited Saga, i must point out Saga Frontier 2, Seven degrees of Gustauve, or whatever his name was, that game fucking rocked, the gameplay sucked, but MY GOD the storyline rocked infact, Gustav rates in my top 3 of all characters of all fucking time man.

reason unlimited sucked was because they let some new director be the head director, and man did he or she fuck up bad, it all depends on who is the director, if its Norbuo fuckin a itll rock, but if its some newb, they beware.

I smell a story-driven action game. Square actually made a SNES game called Front Mission: Gun Hazard for SNES (ROM and translation patch availible on the intrepinetwebbertasto) that was a action game with 100+ levels, an honest-to-god good story, and RPG leveling elements that were based both on a level system overall and a percentage system for individual components (and, in true Square style, there are stores scattered around) And you got paid based on how many enemies you killed and of what type, so you were rewarded for sticking around a level and blasting the more powerful baddies. Something like that, of course in updated shininess, would rule.

Oh yes, and also those Turk people, the one with the stick thing specifically.
