I'm getting a new cellphone within the next week or so, and I figured I'd run my candidates by you guys. Here's what I've got so far:

Personally I'd get the T-mobile... but thats cause I do a lot of texting...

T-mobile sucks. I'm on it, and it's 30p per minute for calls. I think that translates to about 75 cents.

If you were in the UK, I'd recommend going with O2, since their tarriffs are alot cheaper than T-mobile's.

Personally I'd get the T-mobile... but thats cause I do a lot of texting...

hehe. I have a friend who has a sidekick1 and is getting a sidekick2. The only problems with it are these:

It's a tad big. Battery power isn't all that great. Phone reception is good, but not as good as others.

I like the first one on the list, the 6800. It's compact, good battery life, and still lets you have a keyboard.

Since we're on the subject of cell phones, I have a question for you Southern California people: what service is best for the region? I heard Verizon, but what about T-Mobile?

hehe. I have a friend who has a sidekick1 and is getting a sidekick2. The only problems with it are these:

It's a tad big. Battery power isn't all that great. Phone reception is good, but not as good as others.
The Sidekick 2 battery is 2.5 days on standby and 5 hours talk time.

I would KILL for it.
