Proving how stupid my sister is, she decided just now to click on one of those 'do not click me' links, and was greated by a infinently recurring webpage of goatse. It was great she started screaming and my mom came in all like OMFG WTF fix this now(pulling the plug, as ctr-alt-del wouldn't load).

This is the person that managed to get 600 pieces of spyware in under 4 hours. And my patrents wonder why that computer is so slow.

Post other computer hilarity here.

lmao.

When I was a young lad, back in the days of Windows 3.1 and DOS, we used to let my little brother pound away on the keyboard in the DOS EDIT program. We'd just create an empty new file and let him have at it. It kept him quiet and happy.

One day we return to see him pounding away as usual, in the autoexec.bat file. Somehow. To this day I'm not sure how a toddler managed to get into one of the more important files of a computer and edit it.

Also, when I was a lad of 12 or so, I was first learning how to program in QBASIC. I wasn't very good, but being the devious little kid that I was, I made a program that would give a user a black screen with a C:\ prompt and blinking cursor that looked just like the DOS prompt. Only, no matter what the user typed in, it would output "Bad Command or File Name". I played this little trick on my father more than once, and often found myself confined to my room as a result, but it was always worth it to see my father yell profanities at the computer for a good few minutes before he caught on.

ok lad

when I was 12 I was introduced to doom, man I thought it was awesome, I still remember the level that was just a big box with another square and there were enemies all around and you had to survive for a certain time limit, then I graduated to duke nukem, and was scared by the half foot long nipples on the strippers, then I saw quake and remember thinking WOW! these graphics are AWESOME, I sure hope they look as good as my n64 some day! I recall only ever making it to the first boss, the big lava demon guy you have to kill by hitting a switch and electrocuting him or something

One of my buds got on my laptop for like half an hour at a party and my next scan picked up more than 1800 spyware entries, which took me roughly a month of safe mode deletions to purge. (usually i lock up my comp but i was really out of it that night.) Then, a month later my girlfriend borrowed my laptop, screwed up the battery, and followed the windows "help" to system restore. Most people realize that if something has you select a date three years in the future, something might be wrong. However, even people with no history of stupidity can do incredibly dumb things in the prescense of blonde hair. (the really scary part: around a week prior to this she dyed her hair pitch black)
