Research is being funded to look into a 4 layer disc which can hold a terrabyte of info (1000GB).
In video terms this could hold the entire Simpsons collection or up to 472 hours per disc!

See the article HERE (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/3696306.stm)

Wont be for a while but still, exciting stuff if your into technology.
Whats next? Cyborg Female Sex Slaves with a 'mute' button :P

I read in Wired how they have small pieces of plastic the size of a stamp that contains an etched holographic image which will be read by a laser and can hold about that much. They're extremely cheap, to the point where after viewing them you can throw them away. They're also extremely hard to pirate.

Stopping forum-goers from ***'ing is like telling a baby to stop sh!tting in diapers. It's GOING to happen. The only thing you can do is bust out the wipes and sprinkle baby-powder on their tushy.
