'Beat me once a week' says Iranian woman
22 September 2004
An Iranian woman, beaten every day by her husband, asked a court to tell him only to beat her once a week.
Maryam, the middle-age woman, said she did not want to divorce her husband because she loved him.
"Just tell him to beat me once a week ... Beating is part of his nature and he cannot stop it," Maryam told the court.
The Tehran court found the man guilty and banned him from beating the wife, the paper said. "If I do not beat her, she will not be scared enough to obey me," the husband said.
Amen;)

I hate societies that accept the supression and repression of women. Part of my job at the UN is to educate people on women's issues, my peers do it in the Middle East and other foreign countries. In the Middle East, the belief is that the Koran says that women are below men and should be shouded, should not be educated, should be owned by their men. The women I work with go to the Middle Eastern countries that believe that and teach them the actual writings of the Koran, which celebrate women and stress the importance of equality and harmony among the sexes.

i love women. in my adventures as a strong supporter of premarital relations i have discovered that women are very interesting and impressive creatures. I have the utmost respect for women, especially the ones I've been with :D. Any society that opresses its women is a very backwards society and is also a very primitive one. Besides, women are so much more expressive and exciting when they're allowed to be THEMSELVES. Trust me on this one, ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)
Fuck the Koran. Written by a bunch of sexually insecure men. Sad.

Ah, the Koran is fine. It's the misinterpretation of it that leads to trouble!
Also, as I sit here in excruciating pain (with a smile on my face, 'cause I'm sweet like that), I think it's funny that there are men who believe that women are the weaker sex. In all honesty, if a man had to deal with a mere 15 minutes of menstrual cramps, he would think he was dying. And yet, we deal with it for seven consecutive days, non-stop, every month of our reproductive lives, from the time we're about 13 to the time we're about 60.

Bah! You ladies don't know what pain is!
I've heard it all before luv, so don't try and change my mind.
Girls say that waxing your legs hurts like hell, funny how i do a full body wax every a month and somehow manage through it.
And then theirs the old "giving birth to a baby is like squeezing a melon through your penis...now come on, you ladies are designed to stretch and give way.
The way i see it, if it was the man that gave birth, it would be in the hospital for a couple hours, squeeze the baby out, an hours nap, a cup of tea then back to work that day ;)
Im all for semi-equality, but we have to know our own limits :)

Waxing your legs doesn't hurt, I was pleasantly surprised to find out.
Waxing your eyebrow doesn't hurt either.
Waxing other parts of your body make you detach your mind from your body in an attempt to not pass out from the excruciating agony.

How does that even happen?
You would think after 15+ years of them being attached to your body, you'd have worked that out by now.
EDIT: Yes I tweeze my eyebrows, but it's a daily affair, and if I want to take a week off, I slap some wax on them and rip a patch out by the root :p

Tip: control your roundies by wearing underwear/boxer-briefs, or at the very least a healthy strip of duct tape!

Duct tape? SADIST!
I do wear boxers, does nothing.

Boxers are only good for stain protection. You need boxer-BRIEFS. They are boxers made entirely of stretchy material. They keep everything in place like undies, but are very comfortable like boxers.

When I was 14 years old, my friend Holly sat me down and explained EVERY intricate detail, with grim precision, of the female sexual organs and the menstrual cycle. She told me everything I ever needed to know about the whole system, and probably a bit more than I wanted to know. She explained what it's like for girls with anemia, for girls with irregular cycles, for girls with this problem and that problem. She explained the whole layout of the inner workings... and a lot of the ones you CAN see, as well. :D So, Triggar, I must say, you are absolutely right when you say that women are some tough motherfuckers. Having to go through pain like that once a month for almost a week is some incredibly hardcore shit. Every few months the lining of my kidneys starts to shed for one reason or another. (God fucked up when he made me) It hurts so much I can barely walk. But, I have a feeling, that if I had to go through the menstrual cycle, I'd take my kidney problems in a heartbeat.
Anyways. love the ladies. they rock. This "Weaker Sex" bullshit is so untrue it's not even funny. I will say this, though: They certainly are the "More Emotional Sex."
EDIT: i have to add this, though.. Women and Men ARE different. Some feminists want to preach that we're the same but it is not true. We're different. We were made that way for a reason. Men and Women are different. DIFF ER ENT. Anytime I hear someone say that we're all the same I want to slap them. If we weren't different then everyone would have dicks, vaginas, tits, and adam's apples. We'd all have a purse full of tampons and we'd all pee standing up. So NO, we're not the same. It's the differences that make each sex so interesting.
