I work in Simi Valley....hence a tad bit closer. My wife at home (Palmdale) didn't feel anything. Actually, doesn't feel many of the earthquakes. Mountains seem to absorb quite a bit. :)

Los Gatos....nono....heh, i heard about it like 5 minutes after it happened......the teacher's aid's phone went off and her husband said there was an earthquake. I was like hmmm wooptyfreakin doo.

Funny thing is my mom was in the exact same garage as she was in when the 89 Loma earthquake, how funny eh? Amagine that you being in the same garage twice when earthquakes strike.

Dont mind me, but earthquakes are awsome. I wanna be here for the big one.....and then i want to be around for the big hurricane (in it) and experience a tornato.....and all of these can kill me......figures.....

I was home on leave last christmas when they had a pretty decent one around San Luis area. I was on an overpass over the 99 freeway in Bakersfield and yeah, the whole thing was swaying and shit. Yeah, pretty scary stuff.
