I know this, in todays climate may seem.. insensitive, but what ever, I don't play that PC BS.
I want to know if it will be possible to sneak in, and plant bombs, you know, car bombs, bombs on building and the like, liek a terrorist.
If so, would YOU do such?
I would.
Why?
Its a great tactic, set the enemy on edge. You log in, walking through a safe city and BAM, your dead cause some jerk from the otherside planted a bomb in that building you and 50 other peeps just walked by, damn the bad luck eh?

I hadnt seen anything on it, and I am sure if they DID allow such, it would be called gurrila tactics or something like that. I think you SHOULD be able to do such. There is after all, a war going on yes?

Wars need nasty tricks.
Of course, this being the future, I think each side should have the CHANCE, once in a while to obtain a nuke too, but thats just me mwahahahaha

Interesting Idea, although I'm not sure how it would work....
The idea of the game is to capture and hold enemy bases, so that they become your bases. So I can't really see there being any need to put a stationary bomb out just to kill people.
I can however see something like this happening......
You and a few mfriends in stealth suits sneak into an enemy base. You find your way to the control room and begin hacking into enemy systems, while your buddys start mining the halls that lead to your spot. As soon as you get control of the aotu defences and turrets start shooting at people they will all come running down the hall you just mined and BANG!
The base is yours.

Oh oh oh i have a question: Heres the set up, you and 9 team mates have got into an NME hq, and you get seperatred from the group, you plant a satchel charge, set it for 30 secs, and run like hell cause you know people are behind yea, your team mates run into the room a few secounds later and boom.....few grief points for you, or say you are flying escort for a galaxy in a reaver, 4 sketers and another reaver show up to ruin your day, no prob, you take em out but a few of your rockets hit and destroy the now damaged galaxy, more grief for you....... things like this might be rare but i can seem em happening...any thoughts?

9 team mates as in people in your outfit?
If you kill someone in your outfit you do not get grief points, if you kill anyone in your empire, who is not in your outfit.. for whatever reason, you get grief points

They made allowences for accidental team kills, because we all know they do happen from time to time.

I think it's going to be quite challenging to plant bombs in a hostile base.
According to the descriptions of the "stealth suit" I've read, you can't carry very much... a pistol is pusing it. So an engineer tool and some reloads (for planting mines and bombs) seems a little far-fetched.
But if you CAN carry explosives, then it's party time. However:
Between the "dark light" implant and deployable motion alarms, it'll be tough to get in undetected... but for those that can pull it off: Fun With Explosives.

I think people in my squad are gonna limit me to a knife after they keep dying from my ill-timed and poorly aimed grenades/Flechette Rifle shots. :(

I used to play Tanarus (until it went pay to play) and their were proxy mines. I would always be the cloaking tank and mine the enemy base with proxys. It was very fun and effective, the only prob is, everyone would then hunt you down. Maybe PS will have something like this.

Yea that would be cool but you would have to be VERY skilled in order to get in undetected... and out.
