Dont you only need 1 character?

I mean if you can unlearn certs and you get boared of driving tanks, just undo that cert put it into flying and jump in a reaver right?

I mean Y make a new character and have to get exp all over again, I know I am wrong I just want to know where I went wrong.

It's my understanding that there is a penalty that requires you to wait 'X' amount of time before you can pick a new cert.. to discourage people from swapping certs constantly.

Its personal prefrence wether you make multiple characters, or just one.

Last I heard it took 24 real time hours to "unlearn" certifications. This means that you can't make changes to your certs at a moment's notice; you have to plan ahead (at least 24 hours). Having a second character would be nice for the "quick change" and I expect most peeps to eventually have 2 characters for this reason. More than 2 I don't really see a reason for..

There will be multiple characters, i know that i will probably want to make a new character every now and again therefore i won't have to change my certs

I am only making one ... But first i must choose him carefully .

At the moment , i am going to look for info on the Hacker ,i lov the Stalker Role ... And it�s a class you won�t find in the others MMORPGs ;)

I'm gonna fill all four up easily...one to just try the game out and balance everything, then one for stealth/eng/medic/hacker and scout vehicles, 1 for all out infantry (all infantry weapon certs, MAX armor cert, hacker/medic/eng), and one for as many vehicles as possible. Hopefully the number of certs available will allow me to make chars like that...they seem reasonable, but it's still anybody's guess right now.

They also provide quick access to other parts of the world. If you're on a scouting mission behind enemy lines, and you recive orders to defend annother place, you could just log a different character that is closer to the area.
