I've been reading and hearing all over the place things like this:
You press Key [x] to do this and key [y] to do that...

However, there's been no mention of re-mapping keys. I'm a weirdo and use a esdf config instead of a wasd config when playing games. I would hope that I can customize everything (hopefully even hud layout).

In the dev interview, Dave stated that keys are indeed re-mappable. :D :cool:

T2? I never liked that system. I think it'll tke a while to get used to that. I hope the default is wasd.

I used esdf before T2. I did it cause I wanted more letter keys to the left of my pinky.

hehe I couldn't stand esdf. I moved every single key over one to go back to wasd, and changed the ones that didnt fit. I kepts walkin backwards instead of going right when i used esdf hah.

Plus, esdf is on the left hand home keys so you don't have to shift around to type :)

I thought about this too, I always map every key in the control scheme to be within reach of my left hand, even in games like Mechwarrior that have a thousand different functions to worry about. I like to keep my mouse hand on the mouse at all times. I never really thought about it though, seeing as how no developer worth his salt would EVER make a FPS without customizeable keys. :D
