I did a scan on adaware 10 minutes ago. My internet started to go faster. I went on PSU and there were 3 new files adaware found just now. I'm looking into it but hopefully, the files AREN'T coming from PSU.:(

Spyware comes from everywhere. It's impossible to have a spyware free PC if you go online. You can run ad-aware every 15mins i'm sure you'll find a new piece of junk everytime. :)

Zumthor, i would change your sig if i were you, Maddox doesn't like people ripping off his work without giving credit to him.

Forget to mention, most spyware comes from websites that are made to auto-download with Ineternet Explorer. This can be avoided by using other web browsers. Such as Opera (Which i use) and you can make it so only user accepted popups come up. It has alot of great features. www.opera.com

i wouldn't worry about it. most of the stuff adware finds are cookies. i ran the new 6.0 version of adware a few days ago and got 208 peices of spyware (204 of them were cookies ;) )

but ya, like Derfud said, if you want to avoid having websites send you files without your consent (gg IE) download another browser. I use mozilla myself (has lots of nice features like opera):
